Yukari acts like this, and she still has people defending her. I understand that she is still grieving over the loss of Yuki, but she shouldn't had taken it out on Aigis. At least she apologised to her in the end.
I played the original one, and I played the new one. The voice acting, they both have their own charms. However; a lot of people criticize the new ones for lack of emotion, realistically they only just raised their voices. The older ones showed a bit more emotion, however they were more inexperienced in this kind of acting. BUT, it's really just preference. Like I love the old voice acting and I don't like the new one so much, more so because I'm used to the old voices and the anime movie ones, not the new ones.
that's the issue with persona games you can't just watch the story cause you'll miss all the small bits of diolog, like playing yakuza story only and you aren't in tune with the community

If anything, all The Answer did was further fuel my distaste for Yukari…She’s such a major witch for no reason and calls out the straw in other peoples eyes when there’s a giant RAFTER in hers. Her abilities as a persona user are pretty good but character wise, she’s as flat as drywall (just my opinion, please don’t hurt me)

Just finished P3R and came here to gets answers lol. I absolutely love this game, the theme, the characters…everything. It’s allowed me to look at life in a different light. Very grateful to be alive to finish this game. Side note the music starting at 2:58 SLAPS.
Anyone saying Yukari was ruined here legit doesn't understand grief. She's stuck grieving. Imagine someone important to you dying. They literally spell it out for you in the story with her breaking down. And yet you bots still don't understand. Heaven forbid a story has well-written characters who aren't all sunshine and rainbows.
It's not that I don't understand; it's simply that I disagree with her. She's not the only one who has suffered losses. Everyone else--even Koromaru and perhaps also Fuuka--lost someone dear to them too, but none of them ever wanted to go back to the past. The risks are just too great: what if they lose against Nyx? Hell, what if they lose any other battle before that? You know it's serious when Junpei, of all people, became the voice of reason. Is it normal for Yukari to react like she did? Probably, but that doesn't make it any less stupid.
@brahmantyoihsan5938 It's not stupid at all. Everyone grieves in different ways, there's no right or wrong way to grieve. What's so wrong with someone being stuck in denial and anger when someone dear to them dies?

@brahmantyoihsan5938 That's a terrible analogy. To drive in distress is life endangerment. Yukari just had a bit of an attitude problem. She didn't endanger anyone. And the only thing she wanted was to go back to the past against everyone's wishes. But she actively was part of the team because she was in denial of that fact and wanted to push forward towards the future. Lest we forget, what added to that anger was the fact Aigis inherited the wild card, which was the same ability the protagonist had. There was even a part in the story that everyone kind of dogpiled on her because she was the only one who wanted go back when everyone else to continue living on when presented with the chance to go back. Sure, she was pissed and called out Akihiko. But everyone fired back with that same anger except for Mitsuru, who while also wanting to keep time moving on, was supportive of Yukari. And when they lost their fight and Yukari was struggling to take the key from Aigis, only Mitsuru was still that support that didn't fight her, but calmly talked to her and lent emotional support. When you're being attacked, it's only natural to be aggressive. But when someone offers emotional support and listens, even if they don't agree with you, you'll break down emotional walls that you set up. It's human nature. Yukari did the same. You can argue, "But Yukari's dad died too, she should have pressed forward like she did before." But it's not that simple. Just because someone in your life dies, doesn't make it hurt any less when the next person in your life dies. I personally would know that. And in the end, when Yukari finally accepted it, she went back to her old self, even asking Aigis to be her roommate. Because Yukari was never angry at anyone in the team. She was stuck grieving, and everyone else was just better at dealing with it than her. That doesn't mean she was grieving the wrong way. She denied any support and kept it to herself until her biggest moment of weakness, when ONLY Mitsuru talked some sense into her in a kind and empathetic way, even reminding her that she did the same when Mitsuru's father died. Yukari was never good at getting over the death of a loved one either. Most of her plot in the journey was motivated by her father, which she finally got over after seeing the undoctored tape of him. That means she hadn't gotten over her father's death for 10 years, some of that even supported in her social link, when she thought her mother selfish because she was moving on and finding another man. Even yelling on the phone, "What do you think dad would feel?" She was more easily able to cope with Shinji's death because she barely knew him and only knew him for a short time, meaning he hadn't done much to directly impact her like he did with Akihiko. Your analogy doesn't work with Yukari, but it'd work with Ken. He was the same exact way and even more violent. He was willing to kill Shinji and then himself, damaging the cause of SEES for his own selfish desire to get revenge. And even then, when he learned the truth about Shinji already going to die, he was willing to just let himself get killed, which is exactly like driving in distress. Yukari, on the other hand, didn't seek to hurt anyone. She kept everything to herself. You guys think a character with little to no flaws is a well-written character. And you should be more understanding or even relate to her more if you personally had someone in your life die. Especially when you had to deal with survivor's guilt, which is why the entirety of SEES grieved for as long as they did with the protagonist. The protagonist is the only one who died fighting Nyx when it was a battle literally everyone was supposed to die fighting her. Of course there has to be some form of anger, depression, guilt. They spell most of Yukari's attitude out for you guys but nobody understands that there's a whole lot of nuance. You guys are all just missing it.

Why did you dismiss that part off? It's not some minor details that you can ignore. I don't care if Yukari was the only one to suffer from the consequence of her own action, but she wasn't just bringing harm to herself; she endangered everyone. Is it normal for Yukari to feel deeply hurt after losing someone precious? Absolutely. Does that excuse her action of putting everyone else at risk? Of course not. That's why I held myself from driving after losing a child in a stillbirth. My own grief shouldn't take priority over other people's lives, and I expect that sentiment to be returned.
i prayed to god everyday about joker team and narukami team (and perhaps the new team) to release makoto and destroy nyx together (won't happen and im cooked by all persona fans)
Nyx isn't the problem, and it would also be unwise to get rid of as the foundation of humanity's shared consciousness and all life on Earth is how it's keeping Shadows and Nyx's psyche repressed. To get rid of it would have the same result as Erebus calling to it; Apathy Syndrome for everyone.
Why do you people lack media literacy, freeing Makoto means you have to get rid of humanity consciousness, which is impossible, Elizabeth wants to put the MC to rest, not free him

Visiting this video almost 10 years later after finishing P3:Reloaded. I only ever played P3:Portable (never finished the FeMC storyline), so this was my first time learning about the epilogue for P3. There's rumors they'll come out with this Epiogue in P3:R as well, so I'm hoping that comes to fruition. Thanks for recording this!

So to help you. You remember when they said everybody would forget everything while the world would end. So when Makoto sealed nyx inside himself he took the end with him. That's how he died. You could hear everyone saying he wasn't feeling good. He took nyx with him so everyone could have peace. That's from my understanding. If there is a different explanation then hey maybe it's better than mine
You know i just realized atlus constantly makes it to where the people wish for nyx in some way. P4 it was the people wanting the fog in P5 it was people wanting to be controlled but if they combined there efforts they could permanently change the peoples minds but that would mean when that happens it would be the last persona game
They can just make something like what happened with P1 And 2. I mean like, remaking the series. P1 and p2 are connected but they aren't that really connected with p3 to 5. But p3 and p4 are connected and prob p5 Is connected too. So they can end everything with a persona 6 or 7 and keep the series.
@@pablosebastianromero7824 Persona 1 and p2 innocent sin are in the same universe however due to the events in innocent sin, a new universe is created which is the catalyst for enternal punishment and the persona games following it. However all of the remakes overwrite the base game canon (FES, Golden, Royal), and even the persona arena games are canon. Persona Q is a little different because it IS canon, however their memories don't carry over thus making it kinda irrelevant? The dancing games are also sort of canon but it's weird. P5 Strikers is also canon.
Most the people say that Yukari is a bitch for acting like she acted, but most of the people that say that would act like that if they would have lost the only person that helped them to keep going.
