Yanno, first time I did Garuda, the intro cutscene actually helped, because it basically told me what she was going to do, and what I was going to have to do to avoid it. Sure, it's also a banger of an opening, and a great piece of cinematics, but it's also introducing the concept of mechanics that will be present in the fight, which is next-level for a simple boss cutscene!
I just fought Garuda and I gotta say, wow... I love evil organ music in things and maniacal laughter, and loved the way she just was laughing while spinning about the air... Really showed that she was, quite literally, in her element... It also contrasted amazingly with the slow angelic sort of entrance she had, like a visual oxymoron...
it's a fucking fantady game where you slay dragons, demons and gods, if you have to show "your sexuality" in such a ridiculous manner in a game that has nothing to do with it you are pretty sad tbh
