Good organizing video for a bathroom! I'm almost done watching all your video's! I just restarted watching them where I left off here and their still great ❤❤❤❤
It would be a different product altogether then… the vinegar would react with the baking soda and I’m not sure if it would pull anything off or not. You may want to shampoo that off immediately if you try it. With the peroxide there whitening happening from that plus the baking soda (similar to how they whiten teeth in toothpaste) and also it dries up so you can take it off the top without it soaking too far into the bed.
I tried this today and it didn't work as well on mine as you show. And I even had to scrub some after it sat all day and dried. Don't expect miracles here. Mine did lighten the stains but did NOT completely remove them.
Baking soda, hydrogen peroxide Make sure baking soda is fully saturated Let dry completely ( might have to leave overnight) Sweep up excess then vacuum over it
Also I leave it as long as possible. Not sure exactly how long it takes that depends on how wet you get the area and how thick the baking soda is. If possible I like to leave it all day to be sure it’s dried out. It’ll be crunchy when it’s dry.
Why would you dry them out tho? Herbs have both water-soluble and alcohol-soluble compounds. When you dry a plant out, you lose all the water-soluble elements that work alongside the alcohol derived medicines. Fresh is best when tincturing, 9 times out of 10.
Thank you! I would say for me the biggest benefit of drying them would be because I never get to things when I think I will and so drying them for me helps ensure they’ll still be good when I get to it! Tho I can see how fresh would be best. Thank you so much! I’m not an expert on this at all 😅
@Fatima.ameen3 hm I’ve never thought about that, but I never pour it on… I just spray the top so that the air can dry it 🙂 I’ve never had a problem while making sure not to over saturate 🙂
This didn’t work good enough for me I accidentally left a water bottle cracked open on my bed and I came back home and it was a massive puddle a few months ago, it seeped the sweat out of my sheets into my mattress and I can’t get it out
This was a Samsung. I love the capacity but that was the 2nd one I’ve had that went out. I now have a similar whirlpool and it came much more recommended by anyone I talked to who knew about appliances. Samsung clothes washers are very well known for going out after a few years.
I would say sweep it as best you can, and maybe dab it thoroughly with a damp cloth! But I can’t really vouch for that so please make sure that that’s gonna be good in a small spot first ♥️
@abidangurung3270 I just used my regular vac, (I have a shark but ive used others too) but I’d say that the more you sweep up the better no matter what vac you use 🙂
Just wanted to say I still really miss your videos! I'm sure you're really busy, just wanted you to know how great I think your channel is, hope you're doing well!@@countrywifelife
I just cleared a 5x15 storage locker from a move years ago...turned out most of the boxes were DOOM boxes--thrown together late in the move. I had several things I swore I had let go of (obviously I waffled on them) and it was relatively easy to donate all that stuff. (I don't recommend waiting that long.)
really! Thank you for sharing, I don’t know how potent the tincture is, but it seems very strong to me, stronger than when I had done it with fresh 🤔 what are you supposed to do with the herbs? 😊
I'd like to know who makes this and if there is contact information on the box. I have one of these older models. They used to have a website and they used to be based in Utah. I tried the number (I still have the old packaging) but it is not their number any longer. The model I had was back when they had batteries that could not be removed. So that was a long time ago. But it has better scrubbing heads at the time. Anyway, I'm just wondering if there's any contact info for this company and if they are still based in the United States. Even back then they used to make it in China, but they were based in the USA.
Oh my I’m so sorry! Since I’m not entirely sure of the details, the only thing I can think is flushing with water? Spraying then dabbing and repeat a few times. But I don’t know material of your mattress or exactly how it stained, or if it was dark and the peroxide stripped the color? so if you try this please take caution and don’t go forward if you don’t feel comfortable. 🙂
I added baking soda and water without actually looking it up on how to properly clean it. The spot was small And I scrubbed it and it became large and now it’s stained yellow. I’m not sure what I can to do to reverse it. I believe my mattress is cotton but the top feels silky.
@@hollylove6659 if you feel comfortable with doing what’s in the video and letting it fully dry, it will draw out any staining and you’ll be able to sweep it off.
That’s awesome! I would highly recommend watching/listening to something that gets you super motivated WHILE you’re decluttering that makes a huge impact for me!! I hope you find what you need from it in the process ♥️
Dried herbs are best for nourishing herbal infusions or tisanes (tea).Fresh herbs are best for tinctures due to need to extract the water soluble properties .
Thank you for sharing! I’ve heard the exact opposite too, I’ll have to research that more closely! Thank you again, I want to get the most out of the herbs!
It turned out very fragrant, dark colored and flavorful! I mixed it 50:50 with plain glycerin to dilute it, and I can definitely tell a difference when I take it and when i don’t.
Girl I had a room JUST like this and my husband and I just got in there and got it done. So happy we did because I’m a virtual teacher and I’m happy to have this space back! Edit- sorry for all the typos lol just corrected 😄
Oh my goodness really!! That’s amazing I bet that felt soooo good! I’ve tried to tackle this room so many times by organizing and it’s just never worked! Gonna have to Declutter and this time I’m excited!!
Side note: I always show the dishes and never do them on camera. I find I always end up doing the dishes right when my kids go to bed and it’s the witching hour so that’s why I never show them 😂 anyone else have that one task that they always have bad timing with?
To bite the dust is to die. Lol! I think you mean bite the bullet which is what people did in preparation for upcoming pain like pulling a splinter or lancing a boil. The soft lead bullet let you bite down during the pain and not break your teeth.
