Hello Selextial, yes you can use invisible string or fishing wire but you have to secure it with tube crimps.

Hello Lines Thank you for your Comment. for the string I used champion invisible cord .25 mm / .010 in - for beads I used seed bead for turquoise and black and bugle bead for black. the length of beaded string 8 in / 20 cm , with the wig clip and the feathers 30 cm / 1 foot .
