I've done a video late last summer, demonstrating how I coat my screens. I used to coat both sides, but I did one side one day to see what would happen and the screen came out fine. So, since then, I save on emulsion by only doing one side which is the outside. I use "Foto Blue SBQ" Emulsion.
Thanks for the comment. I've done a tutorial video a few months ago about heat circulation and curing ink, which includes stretching the material at the end of printing. The ink cured well. When I first started printing a few years back, my curing wasn't working well because I wasn't pulling my shirts off the board and laying them back on before the flashing. Because of that, I wasn't allowing the heat to circulate well for the ink to cure. My curing time is not always the same, but it's anywhere between 25 and 35 seconds on the final flash. As far as the timing, it wasn't 13 an hour. I mentioned 26 an hour. 13 is every half hour and I never do one coat of ink when using white ink, so it takes up a little time.
How did those shirt do with a stretch test for curing... The reason I ask is your flash time is all over the place .. Paint likes to come off when not cure right And you should be able to do more then 13 in 1 hour... That's a 1 color job with a few flashes, the more flashes you do make white pop off....but if the first layer dries to much..the paint won't layer the paint to stick to material..... Another thing you could do to make sure your material is cured .use that heat press after you cured with flash..I hear press all my screen printing jobs .takes about 1to2 hours..I heat press at 280 to 320 for 20ty to 30ty seconds and sometimes when I know I have flashed to long and paint might not stick..I will do another 20 to 30 seconds ..the heat press condenses the paint and does a more even cure.. After each flash u want paint to be sticky sound with no paint sticking to finger... Thanks for sharing..
Sir how you doing I was wondering I print shirts I do shoes sweaters banners pretty much anything I can print on I try to do I was just wondering I have the same press have you been able to get a four color design yet I believe you can I would like to see it
@@edshawgraphix okay for sure I didn't know if you could on that press cuz I have the same press that's why I was asking if it could be done but I appreciate it though keep up the good work I watch everything you do
You can just get your info from Google. Just ask what equipment and supplies needed to get started because there's a lot of different things you need. Also, you can get prices as well.@@revengexdop1207
