---------------------------------------------- Bell'Masry is a company of Egyptian dance and music created in 2013 by two artists driven by the same passion for the arts: Taly (originally from France) and Kareem GaD (originally from Egypt). Passionate about Egypt and its vast cultural heritage, they decided to put their desire and complementarity together to to honor the legacy of Egyptian Art, including music and dance. Bell'Masry means "by the Egyptians" in literary Arabic. Together form the words in French "Belle Egypt (Masry)." Both have a long career behind them more than 10 years. They shared their passion for dance through many countries with their triple cap dancer, teacher and choreographer.
Les Ghawazi et les Sa'idis sont deux entités distinctes. Le terme Ghawazi, signifiant "envahisseurs," désigne des tribus gitanes d'origine inconnue qui ont migré vers l'Égypte, le Levant et même l'Europe. Leurs noms variaient selon les lieux, mais ils étaient communément appelés les Ghawazi, un terme principalement utilisé pour décrire leurs femmes. Dans le delta du Nil et le Levant, ils étaient également connus sous le nom de Gitans et Nawar, souvent considérés comme synonymes de vol et de manque de morale. Leur présence en Haute-Égypte remonte à leur expulsion par l'État sous le règne de Muhammad Ali Pacha en raison de leurs pratiques immorales. Contrairement aux Awalim, qui animaient les célébrations avec de la danse, de la musique et la beauté des mariées exclusivement parmi les femmes, les Ghawazi s'adonnaient à la danse érotique publique, à la mendicité, au vol, à la sorcellerie, à la prostitution et à l'enlèvement d'enfants. Contrairement aux autres Égyptiens, leurs femmes travaillaient tandis que leurs hommes se livraient généralement au vol et parfois protégeaient leurs femmes ou trompaient leurs victimes. The Ghawazi and the Sa'idis are two distinct entities. The term Ghawazi, meaning "invaders," refers to gypsy tribes of unknown origin who migrated to Egypt, the Levant, and even Europe. Their names varied from place to place, but they were commonly known as the Ghawazi, a term primarily used to describe their women. In the Nile Delta and the Levant, they were also known as Gypsies and Nawar, often considered synonymous with thievery and a lack of morals. Their presence in Upper Egypt can be traced back to their expulsion by the state during the reign of Muhammad Ali Pasha due to their immoral practices. Unlike the Awalim, who performed at celebrations with dancing, music, and bridal beautification exclusively among women, the Ghawazi engaged in public erotic dancing, begging, theft, witchcraft, prostitution, and child abduction. Unlike other Egyptians, their women worked while their men typically engaged in theft and occasionally protected their women or deceived their victims. الغوازي شيء والصعايدة شيء، ومن اسمهم يعني (الغزاة) وهي قبائل غجرية غير معروفة الأصل وفدت على مصر والشام وحتى أوروبا واختلفت أسماؤهم من بلد إلى أخرى بالإضافة إلى اسم الغوازي الذي يطلق أساسا على نسائهم وعلى جموعهم، فهم الغجر وهم النور في الوجه البحري وفي الشام والذين اعتبروا مثالًا للصوصية وانعدام القيم، ووجودهم في صعيد مصر سببه طرد الدولة لهم في عهد محمد علي باشا بسبب ممارساتهم الغير أخلاقية، واشتهروا على سبيل المثال عكس (العوالم) الذين كانوا يحيون الاحتفالات بالرقص والموسيقى وأعمال تجميل العرائس فقط بين النساء أما الغوازي فكن تمارسن الرقص الإباحي في الشوارع وبين الرجال والتسول والسرقة والسحر وتجارة الجنس وخطف الأطفال، وهم على خلاف كل المصريين الآخرين تعمل نساؤهم بينما رجالهم لا يعملون إلا في السرقة وحماية نسائهم أحيانا أو التحايل على ضحاياهن.. ذلك من باب التوضيح فقط
