I just got a 2024 breakout and my husband is customizing it. Mostly black and gold accents not alot of chrome. Higher handlebars. Going to be bad ass for sure.
@@kevinlands yes, it is a great bike. I think the problem is they have the 2024 models on the floor and when you look at price points people tend to think if the prices are not much of a difference why not get the new model. I would suggest people keep in mind what this bike is for one and two keep in mind these 23 and older models are not coming back. So as time goes on it will be harder to find and more unique. Again this paint only had 2000 made.
Thank you! I daily a semi-auto 125cc 4 gear with no clutch but I'm looking to move up to a "real bike". This is probably one of the simplest straight to the point videos I've come across on how to get started.
You are off to a good start. Do what’s comfortable for you and enjoy the ride. Happy you enjoyed the video. I tried to break it down the best I could. I’m not the best at instructional videos. Just wanted to encourage some new riders and give them a little more confidence.
I have the thrashin supplies t bar set up on my stage 2 114 road kind special and I love the handling and arm/shoulder position. I'm a 6ft 3in rider and it helps keep my posture having the taller t style bars over the mini apes
First, very respectful of you to start a conversation with an insult. You definitely lose any credibility or respect from me when you do that. That aside you forget the part of our 2nd amendment that states “ the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed “. I find it interesting you would want to debate our GOD GIVEN rights to self defense. So interested I watched some videos from your channel and then it made sense to me. Not going to go back and fourth with conversation and give you the attention you are seeking. Thanks for watching my video.
Beautiful bike man! I recently bought a street glide but I’m really missing that open road front view of the road! Am I crazy? Lol. I’ve also got that black empire collection grips, brake, shifter & rear pegs too!
*This was 3 years ago but here goes:* Don't talk to folks about ownership or making money. Talk about family, things you like, things folks like, hot days, and animals and you'll do fine. When people compliment your stuff (ridiculous!) instead of saying "thanks," say "oh, wow" like you're surprised. If folks compliment your family, say that you feel lucky to have them. This removes envy from the air between you. This is how you keep "friends." People don't mind helping out the humble guy.
I can see your point there. Definitely wouldn’t be a motorcycle club. More of a business venture creating a community garage and hiring employees to help run it. Members would have access to tools, lounge area and more. Again just ideas and thoughts.
I'm out in AZ and everything you just said about not having time and all those responsibilities resonated with me. I'd love to be in an MC, but i know i don't have the time to dedicate to it.
got any tips for a new rider with 0 mechanical knowledge on working on bikes? Just got scammed by local dealership for about 600 dollars and my bike is in worse condition than it was when i took it for 1k service, idk what the problem is but im legit scared to ride it rn lmao
Depending on the problem I would go back to the dealer who performed your service and express your concerns. If it is a legitimate problem after service done I would hope that they would correct it. If you are not happy with the conversation I would search reviews for a shop you feel more comfortable with. Getting a second opinion may cost you but it will cost way more if it is a problem and you go down.
Nice video buddy, I did the Empire collection in chrome on my 2016. Fatboy looks great, just bought the all black grips for my new 24 black on black Street glide, still not sure if I’m going to stay with black Empire for footboards,I kind of really like the adversary black with slight hint of chrome footboards, we’ll see, on the fence between the adversary and empire for the streak glide
I would like to add a little to what you said. You said the Roadster is a great starter bike and you are right it is. For me though it is a great ending bike! I started on a XLCH 1969 Sportster and upgraded to a Super Glide in 71 and have ridden big twins for 53 years! At 70 years my Ultra just got to be to much bike (bad knees) and I did not want a Trike yet so bought a 2020 Roadster with 3700 miles on it. I love it! Forgot how much fun a light(er) bike can be and will be keeping it until the time comes for 3 wheels hopefully long down the road.
Nice bike. It pisses me off HD done away with the Road King. I have a ‘16 Road King (TC103) with the V&H ProPipe w/competition baffle. She screams. Unfortunately, I live in Alaska so I don’t get to ride as often as everyone in L48. I’ve always done the full exhaust on all my bikes. Personally I’m not big on simply swapping the mufflers but great looking bike I hope the mufflers work out for you.
