I have offset iron sights for my AR. They would wiggle from left to right because they wouldn't tighten down good. I put a washer on both the front and back and then they tightened down and don't wiggle now.
Check out the Leupold alpines for a more fair comparison to the diamondbacks. I own the alpines and looks through and used many time the diamondbacks. The Leupold alpines are significantly better and are similar in price.
dawg it’s your shooting i see amazon reviews of $40 red dots where people fucking leave a hole in the middle of the target 🤣 “won’t be able to group” lmao
I bought one few months ago I add iron sights a red dot scope shoot fine I put 1000 rounds it only had two hiccups I when the round did not fire maybe ammo was bad or trigger did not reset right but it shoot good accuracy I give it a 9 out of ten
Great video ~ Anderson Am15 is one of the better budget AR's on the market depending on what you can get one for. 😊 These Anderson AR's have metal upper and lowers, much better than the polymer AR's ~ I bought one at Kentucky Gun Company for $405 shipped to my local gun shop.
I got a couple of em for ten bucks apiece. One for me and one for a stocking stuffer. Debating grabbing the other two in the store for gifts as well. Ten bucks right!?! One thing you missed and I didn’t see is a riser. 1/2-3/4 up makes a big diff.
I tested both in Cabelas. Viper Diamondback hd and Leopold Bx4’s. Me, another guy, and salesman could find much of a difference and especially not a $300 difference.
That's because you can't tell anything on a sales floor. You need to look at hard edges on the skyline, low light conditions, sun facing the binocular etc. Almost anything will look the same in a store.
People might disagree with this saying the Zeiss MUST be better but Zeiss SCHOTT HT glass is not used in all of their optics just the higher end. The S5 scope vs S3 are completely different levels. The S3 is overpriced for the glass it is no better than any $1500 scope. I believe this review. YOu may have some brand loyalty to Leupold but I still believe it

So I'm necro-commenting. The lack of protective packing materials in the box is important. I guess some people expect every vid on YT to be from professionals or very experienced hobbyist. Yes, this vid could've easily been cut down to four minutes, but at least you didn’t: Use a click bait title. Babble for 20 minutes. Post a preview promotion falsely presented as a review.
Good luck getting warranty from Zeiss. You may have to send it to Germany and wait several months for repair. Leupold has been known to screw their customers over once the binocular or spotting scope model gets discontinued offering zero warranty on their previous lifetime warranty. Fir this reason I only buy Leupold Scopes not their binoculars or spotting scopes. I'd never consider ever buying their rangefinders that only have a limited 2 year warranty either.
Thanks for this. I just got home with mine and was wondering about the Firestarter. Now I got it. BTW, my light didn't come on at first, but then after taking the battery assembly out and putting it back on, light came on. And it is VERY bright! Good use of $30!
I know this video is a bit aged,I was just working on that exact same scope I pulled from deep in the rear of my vault minutes ago. I couldn't remember why I parked it cause it's been so long ago till I was just sitting here, went to search out the model info, flipped the scope over and all the top guts came pouring out,,, NOW I REMEMBER! It's garbage. I had worked on it because of the adjustment you're asking about, it was a problem from day one was it felt very rough to spin it. That elevation is supposed to be for returning to zero on the fly. If you're dialed in at 100yrds and get a target at 200yrds you set that dial to 200 (2) and it corrects the drop allowing you to go back to your 100 yard zero without screwing up the fine adjustments. Anyhow, thought I'd chime in, anyone reading this throw it in the garbage or use tannerite to make a video about it.
25 years ago I used mostly St Croix. Today I use a variety of brands like Dobyns, Pheonix, Denali and Falcon. St. Croix are nice rods, but there is so much more out there to try nowadays.
