It's 2024 and I think the best compliment I could give is - I've never seen this song sung live, and for over a decade I've thought it was sung by a black woman. That's a compliment BTW. Like when you find out a Janis Joplin song is sung by a white woman. Black women usually have voices like this - powerful, soulful, emotive. It's rare a white woman packs so much power and emotion into their voice.
