The official RU-vid Channel of the great Mitzi Shore's World Famous Comedy Store. We send comedy from 8433 Sunset Boulevard in sunny Los Angeles, California straight to you wherever you are.
Founded in the 1970's, the World Famous Comedy Store has provided thousands upon thousands of comedians a stage from which to launch their careers. We do four shows a night, seven nights a week. That's a tremendous amount of comedy, and we love it.
She is beautiful but her overuse of the “F” doesn’t make her set better. I also have a question: Why do women think it’s okay to stop being a mom whenever they feel like it? A 2 year old needs their mother more than a 44 year old needs to go out and tell jokes.
This is a challenging episode to get through. This dude is an unknown “retro” star to everyone outside the states we don’t know or care about him we never watched TRL. This felt like filler because you couldn’t get anyone else and there’s not much else for you to talk about alone. I’m on day 3 trying to finish.
People tried to insult me for dressing as The Joker (a fictional character). Come one. I understand not dressing as actual serial killers or murderers. But fictional villains are what Halloweens about. I hate when people dress cute or like a princess. They ruin Halloween and should be publicly shamed
An Easter cake would be LESS problematic because religious people are f$&ked up and get away with a lot. They hang a dead guy from a cross and depict him in him dying days. That’s just very Catholic of him, honestly
@Robert_Reacts I’ve carried the “Baby Boomer” title for a long time and have never liked it. Labelling an entire generation with one name is frankly, ridiculous. It may offer a starting point for knowing but hardly describes the diverse reality of any generation. Why we are accepting of GenX, Y, Z as a label is beyond me. It’s just a convenient way of simplifying our impression of a generation and hardly a real and fair representation. This may not be a popular view, but I grew up with a “No Labels” mentality which translates now into branding and further branding the self as marketable. Do people not see the diminishing nature of doing this? Or is monatization and likes just what we have to accept? Thanks for your thoughts, as always Robert.😁👍🏻🇨🇦
The thing I like about this podcast is, they talk about people who are regular comics like they’re talking about family members. Makes me feel like an insider.
I’ve literally converted countless Texans to veganism over 24 years of Activism & I’m just warming up 😈💅🔥 My favorite is converting Texan Marines, especially if they played south Texas football in high school & turning them into vehement vegan activists. I may have also taken several Texan politicians vegan as well, I’VE got the biggest cheese balls of them all 🤌🤌
The funniest, Justin Timberlake story was when he was on MTV Punked . He came home and they were TRUCKS getting ready to repossess his house and his belongings . They showed him a letter . He sat down on the stoop and freaked out and started crying and called his mom. Then Ashton Kutcher jumped out and yelled YOUVE BEEN PUNKED ! 😂. Everybody had a good laugh, but he was upset. LOL 😂 😂 That show was hilarious.
Chappell Roan is awesome. I just started listening after I heard of her. Not a Taylor fan. . .think her music is overrated. I think Janelle Monae, Megan Thee Stallion, Christine and the Queens, etc are all so much better and deserve even more attention.
Oh wow! I actually auditioned for TRL the same time Dave did. It was a big deal, such a fun experience. I remember having to do a video intro for Will Smith "Gettin' Jiggy". Ha, ha! Wonder what happened to Jesse, he was just a few people ahead of me in line. He really stood out from the crowd. Dave was a total natural. This was a great interview!
This guest made it sound as if MTV did not have great shows & good times before TRL. If anyrhing, TRL was the last good show before MTV turning into 24/7 crappy reality shows and becoming irrelevant eventually.
Yes reality shows did ruin MTV. Also suddenly we had the internet. I loved MTV as a teen in the 90s. It was literally the only thing we had before the internet and mobile phones
It's there personal preference for music just like you have yours and I have mine... Personally I don't listen to or care about any of the artists you mentioned...nor am i into any of the newer artists Justin or Dave Mentioned or any of the Teenie Bop garbage from Nostalgia wanking about TRL.
Wow he looks great! I was way too poor to have mtv but I would watch it at my dads house! His kids had cable…ok time for my therapy session jk 😂 I miss those days: I was a kid and those trl faces were a comfort zone. Wish them the best in life! ❤
