Tengo un problema con esta silla y su conector. La pieza donde conecta se ha roto por dentro y no desbloquea la silla. Por lo que no puedo quitarla de la bici. Alguien sabe como desbloquear la?
This product is horrible. Support in Norway is even worse and lack will to fix a manufactoring issue with the front plastic cover that shrinks. Would recommend this product for anyone, not even any sworn enemy.
How much space is needed under the luggage rack? My wife has a battery under the luggage rack and nowhere can you read how much space the bracket takes up under the luggage rack.
Easily removable, unless you buy the C3 Caress model which has a key. If you lose it, you literally cannot take the seat off your bike. The u-bar going into the mount doesn't budge and the seat had to be slipped over it before locking in place. Brilliant design. If over 2 years you lose a little key, your bike is stuck with this bouncing piece of Chinese plastic on the back.
@@pearljameric Can't make copies of a key you don't have. The solution of calling and paying a specialist to fix a problem that shouldn't exist just drives the point home of how it is a bad design choice. Considering later models of the same seat phased out the key requirement, I would say the company silently agreed it was a mistake. My comment was a frustrated warning to people to beware the possibility of my predicament. It has since been solved.
@@pearljameric If you must know, my bike was being stored at a family member's home, and they bought and installed the seat for me to take my daughter on a nearby trail when I was visiting them. Now, a couple years later, my child doesn't need the seat, and when I attempt to take it off I encounter the key problem. I don't blame my family member, they were going through a tumultuous time in their life and has since moved and doesn't know the whereabouts of the key. So, now I go online to see if there is a workaround, and find that my particular model requires the key while others do not. Shit happens, sorry I am not a guy with a cupboard filled with copies of EVERY key I have ever needed. Are there any other useful things you need to say to a random person venting a frustration about a design decision on a product he owns? Perhaps a critique of some other aspect of my life? Forgive me for the attitude, but you started this conversation when you had absolutely nothing to gain or contribute to my situation. Which was over a month ago, by the way.
It could have been the perfect one for me. But I miss two things. First a buggy wheel with air and not hard plastic. It brings so much more comfort and stability during buggy mode. Also you could go for a run as you can fix it. And second which is for me the biggest issue. Why is there no trunk? I have a diaper bag which goes everywhere I go, the car, my back, the stroller etc. One bag which is always ready at the door wherever I go with my little one. I won’t unpack und repack it to the other bag. And when go hiking or for a long walk with the jogging wheel you need some things. Rain jacket, toys, maybe a picknick blanket, water bottles, food. I really doubt that everything fits into the small bag. Also I just wanna put everything in there with open the bag etc. just my personal option.
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. As you point out, the Breeze/Cocoon trailer can be used when jogging, even with the stroller wheel, as it can be fixed in the forward direction. Should you, however, prefer an air filled tire, we offer an optional jogger wheel (16’’) which can easily replace the stroller wheel. As for the space for luggage, we understand your position. In our bike trailer assortment we have three models with designated space for luggage in the rear of the trailer - Outback, Avenida and the Traveller. With the Breeze/Cocoon bike trailer, we offer a sportive, slender and flexible model, where the bags offer space for luggage, and in addition provides an appealing total appearance of the trailer and user. In this way, our customers have the possibility to choose which trailer model is most suitable for their use. We hope you will find YOUR favorite model 🙂
@@hamaxofficial6769 Thank you for your response. The air filled wheel is perfect for hiking adventures etc. but definitely not when I am driving into the city where everywhere is cobblestones (Germany). And as there is no trunk I wouldn’t have space to carry the jogging wheel with me anyway. That’s why I think an air filled wheel as a stroller wheel brings much more comfort and stability while pushing. Friends of mine have an outback but to have only the handbrake when I am using the jogger wheel is for me a no go. Both other carriers seem to have no possibility for a jogging wheel and no handbrake. During my search for a carrier so far any company has something that I miss (only my personal opinion) so I know that I will have to make compromises.
Thanks for that great video. Do you have an instruction on how to mount/demount it or - even better- how to completely remove the seats of the avenida? Thanks for your support!
I bought the adapter separately, but it differs from the one shown here. The adapter I bought has two protruding lugs at the front and I can't mount it.
@@TheGvarga76 I finally managed to do it by applying it at a high angle and then it clicked into place. when it works you just think "how did that work now" the video helped me a bit even if you can't see it properly: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QEAaQc8IAao.html
Check the Carres model you have, they changed it in 2023 may, Hamax Carres has now different mounting system, you need old style adapter to the old seat.
Hello! Yes, you can use this in a double trailer, and it is plenty of room for a second child. If needed, two baby seats can be installed next to each other.
I tried but when I followed instructions to run the upper strap through the hole in the middle (in between the seats), there was no hole? If I put it in front of the other Childs seat it will be uncomfortable. Please help!
