Jalen Hurts had the same statistical year as Josh Allen in 2023 and the talking heads put him at #3 in the top 10 and JH is 'honorable mention.' Hurts also has the same numbers and success (reaching and losing a super bowl) as Joe Burrow - #2 on that same list - through 51 career games. I honestly believe the critiques are BS and are more because he's not a 'happy-go-lucky' talker that puts on a show for the media. Hurts isn't a big personality showman so even though he has the same numbers as #2 and 3, he stepped back and was 'injured'. I'm not making excuses for the turnover issues, but the reality is they lost games they should have won at the end instead of throughout or somewhere in the middle like Josh Allen did or even Brock Purdy did.
