Delaware had 1.6% slaves, Missouri had 9.7% slaves, Maryland had 12.5% slaves and Kentucky had 19.5% slaves and these states had the lowest % slaves population and a future about 1900 these states could have been free states. In those case only 11 slavery system could have been only and 43 free work states would have been and a newer free work state would have been enough a 13th Amend of Constitution. 3. Sephen Douglas Democrat party leader said Lincoln he would have asked 200 000 soldiers and not only 75 000. So the Democrats assisted the Civil War for reunited USA, but not for abolution of the slaves. Stephen Douglas had plantation with slaves in Mississippi (He inherited from his wife after her death.). It was not 1864 november it was 1860 spring! Lincoln wanted a all North agree for the triumph. At 1864 november the Democrats got 45% in the presidential election and the Democrats did not want a 13th Amend in the Constitution. The whole USA aim could unite the North and only 55% helped an abolution possibility in 1864! 4. Because the congress + government could say the Confederate states were traitors so they lost any right for any veto against a Amend of the Constitution! Instead of about 1900 so the South lost the eternal slavery civilization possibility in January of 1865!

I think when reading Mrs Dallloway one should be lead by Woolf and that is its crux and its power..sometimes analysis is valuable but to see a tree is too see a tree..but I do say this narrator is charming and does detail or rather characterise The Woolf Novel..
