Hello friends. My name is Kengo. Just another Japanese man making travel videos on RU-vid about Japan, based in Tokyo.
I always wanted to support international tourists visiting Tokyo and wanted them to come back here again. So I'm making videos that is not just vlog of my travel, and something actually helps travelers who are visiting Tokyo and all over Japan.
I hope my videos become of help for you and you get travel idea for your next trip to Japan. Please call me Kenchan (nickname) or Kengo :)
* I'm not from travel agency nor professional in tourism, so I don't provide any tour service in Japan, nor give you any personal advice for your trip.
* As I'd like to keep this channel a fun place, comments that may ruin other viewers' feeling may be removed. I hope you enjoy!
Let me say, your videos has been so much helpful at my trip to Japan. I just got on the nikko bus at the JR station and got a seat at the bus because of you. Thank you :)
Thank you for this informative video. Based on your experiences, is it will be super crowded on Saturday evening in November?? (from Shin-Osaka Station to Tokyo Station)
I don't think it will be that busy. No matter how busy it is, you can get seats if you are taking from Shin-Osaka. You might want to make sure to take Shinkansen starts from Shin-Osaka.
@@tokyokenchan Initially I planned to use the VIP Liner Bus Osaka-Tokyo. But the price (price in Klook apps) is quite close to the price of Shinkansen tickets on Saturdays, and after seeing this video, I started to consider using the Shinkansen (non-reserved seat).
Hello, my family and I are planning a trip to Japan (Osaka,Kyoto) for early July. Could you let me know if it usually rains a lot during that time? Thank you!
Yes. Not just in Hakone, but I usually set the number of guest “ 1 “ and “meals included “ and search. I just booked one in that way in another place. Some Ryokan comes up. I hope you can find a good one. :)
We had a mini disaster in Kamakura where a business caught fire on a windy night right across from our ryokan. We just packed and waited for the train station to open. Outside of the good tips here, my advice is to be flexible. We missed on Enoshima and other goals but instead we had a great early day at Meiji and Shibuya that we might have otherwise missed.
I came here just to say thank you to you.. I just came back from my Japan Trip.. your videos help me a lot while studying to make my itinerary for the trip.. keep up the good work!
@@tokyokenchan the main tower. However, they were kind enough to accept my cancellation and gave a full refund. I’m glad that was not my 1st stay hotel in Japan otherwise i could have bad experience. I have moved to Metropolitan Haneda Airport Hotel. That way better!
Can I ask which transportation should I ride going back to Kansai Airport? I will be on USJ then after that I’ll go back to my country and the airport is Kansai Airport. Please help me give directions, for a tourist commuter. Thank you.
Thank you for including the different prices, especially from the Japanese view. Just watched a different video that made it seem like visiting was way too much cost, for me. Great you compared the tourist area and the Local areas difference in price and availability. 1 st time your video and it put Japan back on my travels plans.
I love all the interesting satellite cities of Tokyo. I have a question; if I have a 48hr or 72hr subway ticket (the one that covers the Toei & Tokyo Metro lines), can I use it on the subway (the Fukotoshin Line I think) from Shinjuku Sanchome to Kawogoe. Do I have to get off, exit and purchase a new ticket at Wakoshi and sacrifice the convenience of the direct service.
Hey thanks a lot for making this video. It was extremely informative. I'll have to watch it a couple of more times as I plan my trip for Osaka. I leave in July, so this is going to come in handy.
Thank you. I was just looking for places to visit from Tokyo to have some day trip-ideas when I came to Tokyo (maybe next year). I'll save this idea an my personal list. Thank you also for your videos about what to do in Tokyo and the day trip to Hakone.
Thank you Ken-san a great overview of Kawagoe. We had this on our list of possible places to go when we were in Tokyo and ran out of time to get there. But it is definitely on the list for our next visit. Cheers mate
