One of the finest rolls ever made, with tunes from one of the finest eras of music! A second Swing roll for the 165 frame was released 9 years ago, it is 165 Roll 6869. It's not on the Wurlitzer 150 frame however but if I become a band organ arranger at all it's most certainly being adapted to the 150 frame.
That's a lot of sugar but that man is a true artist 🙂 he actually painted a plastic board with sweet sauces...Even Picasso wouldn't have made such a masterpiece...
ive NEVER been to Hersheypark, I have been to Hershey's chocolate world and Hershey stadium but ive sadly never been to the park itself and this is one ride id LOVE to ride if i EVER get the chance to go to the actual park itself and if one day i am able to go to hershey park either with my mother or my mother and my grandmother im gonna stand in the entrance of the park, Strech out my arms and then post on facebook maybe with the caption like 'finally got to come to Hersheypark' or something like that
I've been going to Hersheypark all my life. I lived close to the park, but moved away when I was 11. Since then, I try to visit once or twice a year. 1 had a season pass from 2008 to 2022. This was the first year we did not have a pass. Go to the park, you will enjoy it. There are rides for everyone. The carousel is in the front of the park, just beyond the entrance.
The old paintwork was the original paintwork too except for the light blue paint over the slabs on where the drums sit. I just hope they painted over that paintwork and didn't strip it off. That would be quite a crime in my point of view. This band organ is nearly a century in age. It originally left the factory for Marion, Ohio in 1926.
We flew to Fort Lauderdale and rented a car. Stayed in and cruised out of Miami. Went to The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and Dominican Republic. We then took a shuttle back to Fort Lauderdale and flew home to DCA. Lots of fun!

@@Boss42n I wonder if they'd ever consider it! I mean I think it really is the best parade Disney has ever done. The only other thing I think somewhat comes close is Legends of Mythica BUT I still think this has a better soundtrack.
I heard that the floats were trashed after Tapestry Of Dreams. It would be cool if they brought this back. Hard to beleive it's been 24 years since the last run of this parade. :O
That's the original paint on the Wurlitzer 153's facade. Don't know why they partially repainted it in gold and enamel white, I prefer the original Wurlitzer paint. Almost a bit like several of the 11 remaining Wurlitzer 165's. The ex-Griffith Park 165, Glenn Thomas's 165, Glen Echo Park's 165, and apparently Robert Gilson's and Arnold Chase's are said to have their original paint too, possibly. I did see a picture of Gilson's W165's facade after Rosa Patton was done with it. Some other 153's still have their original paint too.
