Leifheit best drying racks on the market at very very steep prices. Just bought the basis universal drying rack 20M and it only costs 39 euros (and still got 20 off) Also use since years the Leifheit automatic window cleaner and bought it at ALDI's. The helicopter drying rack for in the garden only costs 133 euros. After 30 years of abuse my former Leifheit drying rack was up.
With that system, you'll have to balance all washing to avoid to be heavy only on one side. Not great system to be fair. You need to make a triangle with the rope on the 2 shorter side going upwards if you want to make it more stable
Now thats what i need...the screw in pully...im trying to use regular screw in celiing eye hooks and then adding my pully somwhere on the side of my kitchen island to pully my mothers pot rack so she can eaisly acess the pots and pans..and im stuck right now trying to figure out how im to connect the two sides of the rack to the one pully
I just got mine yesterday, but I can only hang 15 items....18 if I use the "hooks" on the ends. How in the world are you hanging 36?!?! There are only 15 holes?
I have used am umbrella clothesline but I never liked it. I used it because it was the only clothesline I had. Now I have revolving parallel lines. For me, it's much easier to decide what goes where than w/the umbrella style. But that's not to say someone else might love this style. I'm just glad to see videos about hanging laundry outside for which I'm all in favor of doing!
I like mine. It never came with instructions. Thank you for letting me know the legs lock in place, as I did not know this, it kept collapsing as the legs were not locked and they moved inwards, making it unstable. I am using it right now, and will go and splay the legs out.
I had a nightmare of a time trying to put this up today. I tried to attach the main part to a wooden post. It's so hard to get the screws to start going into the wood. It just doesn't want to. Even when it does go in it eventually gets stuck and the inside of the screw gets worn down as the screwdriver is still turning. So you can't turn the screw anymore. I went through about 10 screws. Then I thought 'if I drill into the wood that will help the screw through.' But the drill head snapped off in the wood. I expected it to be such a simple, 1 second job but its impossible. What can I do? Thanks.
is it possible to install this type of dryer without drilling. I live in a rented apartment. is there any heavy duty glue or some other idea. plz help!!
You haven't pulled it nearly high enough. It's below your head level. You need to tie the top knot much higher so it is up near the ceiling when raised. That way it doesn't block the room. That's the whole point of them; to get them out of the way.
