HD Warrior is a blog I have been running since 2009 for all video and film professionals. We produce news, interviews and reviews of the latest video products. In the past I have used Vimeo to store my Reviews for HD Warrior. I am now transferring them onto RU-vid which is why some of my earlier work appears today.
My Friend, this is the most accurate and exhaustive video, I found on the AF100-101. This was more useful that reading the manual. You gained a like and a new subscriber, and the fact that I love your Scottish accent (I'm Italian, and for me is more easy to understand than Brits accent), it's just the cherry on the pie. Thank you so much for this video.
Dave Marshall - absolute legend - "let's go airborne over Glasgow now with Captain George Muir aboard the Barrs Irn Bru eye in the sky", "a check on the travel now with John Sheridan at the Rail desk", "lighting up time this evening". Exactly what I wanted in a breakfast show presenter. He was without doubt the best presenter in ILR circa. 1981-85. An Edinburgh man by birth (like myself). I wrote to him in 2008 and received a lovely long reply. Good also to see narration by Paul Young - another Edinburgh man!
Well they were right, there never has been another James Sanderson on the phone ins Still remember when 'only an excuse ' took the Mickey out of him on the radio, such a funny sketch. RIP Jimmy
hey! Do you notice a low back background noise (noisy preamp) when you plug in your mic into the 3.5 socket? It sounds more like cars on a highway from a distance. Even if just the cable is plugged into the socket (without the mic), i can hear this noise. Do you have the same problem?
Thanks for this video - I have two Panasonic cameras - HPX 170 (2009) and HC-X2 (2023)...I am looking answer for 2 questions: Question 1. There is a option in HPX170 and it calls MARK CLIP - this function we could set to USER button on body of camera and quickly mark in meta info (OK) in video clip. It was very useful. Do you know where is it in these new cameras? Qustion 2 : Is there any quicker way to change the recording system from 4K to 1080p except the pushing and scrolling throw the camera menu? Is there any way to shourtcut this? THANK YOU
Thanks for this video - I was looking for a 4K 60FPS camera at a price I can afford, and this video plus others helped me decide on the HC-X1500 (I don't need the handle or the additional functionality for the 2000. Just waiting for it to arrive now 😊
I films Buzzards in the sky with my Sony FDR -AX53 in Auto but find when tracking them in the sky it jumps in and out of focus would the Panasonic HC-X2000 get me better results.
I think it can see and just doesn't have build in IR light as other RU-vidr said it, but I find it weird to not have it build in, do you ever use IR night vision? By the way, how's the 3.5mm port, is it noisy or very good quality? If I attach Sennheiser MKE 440 to record stereo sound, how do I record my be hind the camera commentary voice at same time, can the internal mic be recording at same time? Is it good solution to attach a Deity HD-TX recorder with a shotgun or pencil condenser mic facing backward to record my voice? Or use an 2 to 1 audio jack but they all will be mixed into 2 channel tracks right?
Cool, you're ready to make movies. A director must know all of this before filming, I've heard📽🎬. And to find movie actors too, just to think, I can see a lot of this camera right now. Using this video camera, I'll see how you do it, love the color and the size of it
I have to say, I really miss your camera reviews. For whatever reason, I took much of my purchasing decision inspiration from your good self and never regretted the choices I made. I thank you for that.
I shoot live theatre, concerts and dance shows primarily. I use two GH5's, one GH5 Mk2 and the PX270. I normally use the PX270 with a Atomos Recorder (Samurai) and a Libec remote zoom. The 270 is my most flexible camera despite the fact that it is only HD.
Do you know if the HCX2000 will output through the SDI and HDMI at the same time? I was using it in a live broadcast (SDI) feed to an encoder, and would like to attach a bigger monitor (HDMI) as my eyes are starting to go.
What is the highest resolution recording mode of this camera? I need to record a dance choreography indoors but we will have good light. Which recording mode do you recommend? I would like the image to be nice and sharp.
I posted a few messages. Either you aren't reading them, or are too overwhelmed with other messages and inquiry's. Regardless... I've decided to unsubscribe. I've not used your youtube channel in sometime and see no reason to go on. RU-vid is just to erratic and randomizes everything, so finding specific videos and video topics is an enormous pain in the ass exercise in futility. This has NOTHING to do with you or why I'm unsubscribing. I'm unsubscribing because I'm not benefiting or learning anything new from you. My previous inquiry was about the Panasonic HC-X2. I had asked if you were going to do a review on it. You did a wonderful review on the Panasonic HC-X1 unit and I had hoped for a followup on the HC-X2. But no such luck. I guess you're too busy to answer questions from the likes of me, sothanks anyway.
Best green screen instructions I've seen. Clear, Simple and full of pro tips. well done. wish I'd seen it when it was first posted. It would have saved many hours. Thanks
Excelent video. Very informative. The most noticable weakness of the image quality is the way it blows highlights. Does this thing have a low-contrast picture profile or log mode? The DRS helps but the highlight roll-off is still very harsh. Having said that, it still looks like great image quality all round for the functionality and price. With such a small sensor and high frame rate, I'm amazed that it copes with low light to the extent that it did in your demo. Must have some serious noise reduction algorithms going in-camera. I really like this combination of features at the price. It's a very nice unit.
