A medley of budding Mandolin artistes from South can play with upcoming & budding artistes from North India as a Jugalbandhi. This can be explored- A suggestion. N R Raghuram Hyderabad
Selected pieces of recordings from Guru Smaranam 23 & 24 can be considered to be sent to our PM Sri Narendra Modiji for him to hear & even played on Republic day or some such other occasions in New Delhi.
Hamsanaadham & Revathi are raagas which are not that melodious to listen to . Kirtanaas in ragaas which are sincillating & mesmerizing to hear like kadanakuthuhalam, Balhamsa, Naata Kurunji, Kaapi Narayani, an English note, Sriranjani, Malaavi, Reethigowla khamas, Ananda Bhairavi Sindhu Kaanada, Kannada etc could have been rendered. ,
Navarasakannada, Reethigowla, Kannada, Kamaas , Anandhabhairavi, khaamboji, Harikhamboji, Yedukulakhamboji, Shankarabharanam - these are some raagas which I feel youngsters would have to learn so that they do not leave carnatic classical music ( Mandolin) mid way thru Their interest in the art will grow & make them attain some level/status - in fact each one of them have the propensity to individually excel
Raagas like Nalinakaanthi, Kadhanakuthhalam, Kaapi Narayani ( Sarasa Saamadhaana), the English mote, Kuntalavaarali, balahamsa etc can be chosen to be rendered in groups
Nice group. Hope they all will get to become another U.Srinavas & continue his legacy, though they are students /disciples of U P . Raju & Smt.U.Nagamani
