@GeneralManager-do3yw Good question! Depending on which model you have you may need to lower your main screen display resolution down to allow the NVR to use the Sub Screen. If your main monitor is set to 4K try lowering it to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) and see if the Sub Screen option is there for you!
If you not tech smart. Don't buy this vcr. I not tech smart enough to operate it. My video keep getting deleted some how. I'll sale this one cheap. It's only a month old.
@springload7238 You should reach out to our technicians to see if we can give you a hand setting it up! They can be tricky at first but after talking to our guys I bet we can show you around and get comfortable with it! (888) 653-2288 x3 or support@cctvsecuritypros.com
You would need to use an IP camera that has the features you are looking for. All of our Blue Line IP cameras offer Smart Motion Detection and many more features!
The NVR we are using in this video is our 16 channel PoE NVR www.cctvsecuritypros.com/security-camera-recorders/16-channel-network-video-recorder-supports-16-ip-poe-cameras/
Hey there! Can you provide the model number system you are working with so I can better assist you? You can always call our techs at (888) 653-2288 x3 or email us at support@cctvsecuritypros.com
That's an interesting way to put it for sure! Security is our priority so we would need the original order information in order to unlock it for you. Can you reach out to the original owner and get some of that info so we can look it up in our system?
@skynews3678 we do sell fan replacements. I would recommend sending our tech support a photo of the fan you need so we can check if we have the correct model. Email us at support@cctvsecuritypros.com
This camera can be found in this link. www.cctvsecuritypros.com/commercial-security-cameras/outdoor-ip-security-camera-active-detterence-color-night-vision-2-way-audio/ We do have it in both white and black!
Tks for video. What about the fans on the cover or sides of the unit. Do they blow air in or out of the unit. Perhaps this depends on what make they are also. I usually put a small exterior fan on the recorders.
Almost all of the side case fans are used for exhaust! There are a few select models that have both intake and exhaust fans but these are typically the large rack mountable units! I like the idea of the additional fans too! Airflow is so important for keeping everything nice and cool.
I guess my first reply didnt take. Again Thanks. I have the last one replaced with INTAKE orientation. I think I will put to EXHAUST. It only has one fan on the side. I will also move my external small fan to the other side that way there is a flow thru the unit. I couldnt tell which way it was flow since the fan was shot. I usually use toliet paper to see which way the flow it. I will get that set up right. Again Thanks for the video and your time. @@cctvsecurityprostech
I really like your system. I installed one for a friend. Is there a way to delete all recordings from the hard drive? I see an option to format the drive, which would wipe it, but is there a normal option to delete all footage from the NVR?
@ogbuzzy1974 Good question! When you format the drive you only wipe the video/photo storage on the drive. The operating system is not stored on the hard drive so you're good to go with a format if needed.
@jd2150 good question. This camera does offer color night vision with some ambient light sources nearby. It also does "support" two way audio. The two way audio is not built into the camera but the harness has an input for a microphone and speaker enabling two way capabilities. Good question! The wireless systems are currently limited to 4 channels. However you can use multiple wireless systems to help cover a larger area if needed!
Great question! If you choose to record 24/7 the cameras will still log motion events inside of the playback menu. You can get a good idea of that here in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fY9q5mFt7i4.html You'll notice the two colors (Blue = 24/7 recording and Red = Motion events) inside of the playback menu!
