OMG your fursuit is gorgeous! I love the idea of putting springs in the ears to make them bounce up and down! I am curently making a bunny fursuit partial and i may add springs to make them bounce too if that is okay with you <3
Thank you!! But I didn't use springs, it's lined with wire that goes from the ear tips to the base of the forehead. But springs would probably make it a lot more wobbly and cute!
WoW it's so cool!!!! It must be pain to be inside the suit bc of how hot it is:p Btw how do you make the vent part? Bc I can't figure out how to see while there's fabric on it lol
Thank you! It does get pretty hot, I just made a mesh window where the face is, it's thin enough to see through. They could probably see in too, but id rather be safe about it
@@baldwcue of course! I'm still kinda new at it, so I'm trying to make them safe for people to wear before I start making them for others. I often make them for me and then sell them when im done with the con. I won't charge a super crazy amount, I think 3-4k sound about fair for a quadsuit. I can message you when I am ready for quadsuit commissions if you'd like?
@@pawsnplayfursuits Yeah that'd be a good price. But i'm only 11, soooo mabye one day I MIGHT order I don't know i'm not rich lol hopefully I get one someday!
I just commented on another video that quadsuits fall into uncanny valley for me even though I think they're awesome and this one fits more into cartoon animal! Both are good options honestly
That looks very nice. Most quadsuits are tall because of the stilts. I'm sure the suiters legs and back must be tired, it looks really hard to crawl like that without being on your knees.
Bro! This is amazing! This is my biggest pet peeve I have. I don’t want anyone to give away their style necessarily but all I can find is how to make wetsuit stilts, I really really badly want to find more of a quad suit TUT and I can’t because people don’t like to give away their style. But I’ve seen some behind the scenes ““ of course And I think I get the basics but it’s still so difficult when you can’t find us single tutorial on how to make the base!
@@zerowolf4051 well it's easy to overheat, more so than a normal fursuit. And depending on where you're holding the weight, it can be bad for your body (depending on how long). Before I fixed up red, it was on a helmet and really heavy for my neck, I ended up lots of soreness and strange blood spots on my face :0 but that's also because I didn't have long stilts for the hands. I am a little cautious with hand stilts too because if I go too fast I could break an arm or something. But It varies from suit to suit. Just some things to think about :3
@@pawsnplayfursuits Do you think you'll wind up making more quadsuits of that style and perfect the methods you used, or was it a one-off experiment? Experimenting with new things never done before always gets the coolest results when you know what you're doing and have a plan which I definitely think you did!! It's inspiring!
Thank you! ^^ it depends on the character, the next one I plan to make will be a dire wolf, but his neck will be in an upwards position. u would love to make a realistic bear in this position, so I might in the far future do this again! They are all kind of experiments for me in a way
