friendly reminder that the movie’s Newsboys theme song (In God We Trust) was released on their new *worship* album. that is all, do with that what you will.
I think at this point we all can agree that the actual God's not Dead song is a very very mediocre lazily written song. Even the Newsboys are getting sick of being asked to play it again.
At least it sounds like a Teen Musical, in that those low male harmonies firmly plant it in the "school choir" genre of singing where everyone is learning the basics of musical performance lol.
I will give Shane Harper so much credit, he was phenomenal in Hightown and he seems like a genuine guy who comes by his faith honestly. The fact that he doesn't want to lean into a "culture war" speaks to his character IMO.
I genuinely don't understand why they keep making these movies. Also, if they were gonna stray away from the initial theme of defending God's existence, they should've just made these into brand new movies instead of being part of the franchise
I'd of course love to see a review of both God's Not Dead 4 and 5, but I also want you to make things that are fun and rewarding to you. It's been great to see your content coming out more regularly recently. Your sense of humor and genuinely interesting insight are a couple of my favorite things online these days. For the past two years or so I've spent so much time re-watching through your back catalogue of videos on a regular basis and re-listening to everything on The Inner Tube, Who Would Build the Roads, and the SGK Podcast. I hope you keep enjoying making things as much as we enjoy watching them. Take care, Kevin!
IMO These movies (and some of the Daily wire cartoons that came out recently) are the Right/Christian version of woke I say this as someone who is on the Right and a Christian (a bad one but still one). Just because I agree with the message (and here its...questionable at best) does not mean you did a good job telling it (and vice versa).
I beg of thee to review the fourth one. The third was actually kind of productive and an improvement on the first two, but the fourth movie loses all of that.
Only come back if you want to, sometimes i go back and rewatch my favourites like princess cut, so if you do decide not to do reviews again I'll still be glad for the ones you did make! 😊
Hmm...I only ever see\hear of these movies here. A shame everything in the US is so political now. Even though I vehemently disagree on some big things, it's only yt. _We democratic, monarchical Christian socialists are actually nice people & NOT woke btw Kevin. But you do you Kevin, we're still parasocial mates!_ 🇦🇺🦘
The cinema snob reviewed the third one . I didn't know about a fourth one . Now we have a fifth one i love the fact that in the trailer it looks like hes running for president in that debate scene they are using helb in hihg school auditoriums .
