Worst buckethead show I ever saw. I was hopeful that returning to a live band would be a return to the old magic. I’ll never forget October 2005 at the Parasdise Rock Club in Boston, he played an encore of Jimi Hendrix tunes and the machine gun solo was like note for note. Crazy good. The time I saw him with a live band after that he encores with a killer Zeppelin medley. I think this might be Paul Gilbert playing as Buckethead.
My guess is that, for whatever reason, BH prefers to play the solo part over the backing track where the timing has to be very precise and machine-like.
This show blew my mind. I think a portal to hell got summoned at one point. I feel like the vocals merlged with buckets guitar. It was so cool 20/10 like a subtle yet distinct soup.
Shit… Bucket doesn’t NEED a band. Never has. But the fact that he’d give “High School Kids” or anyone else a chance to play with him on stage is pretty bad ass. Tell me you wouldn’t jump on that.
Maybe you can answer my questions because I'm so fucking confused. 1) Why is she on stage for a song that has no vocals? 2) What is she doing with the pedals and mic during this song? 3) Why is there no sound coming out of her mic? Was her mic turned off?
@@groovydeath I was there, upstairs mezzanine, she was doing voice effects. When she sang, if you an call it that, was truly awful...Why she was allowed to sing War Pigs I'll never know. Rhiannon? a Stevie Nicks song, why was this & Jessie's Girl from rick Springfield played i'll never know.
