I came there in 1994 and 2002 from Sydney Australia loved the place all the way up Nth to Mackinaw Island that whole strip was magic and the Musical Fountain was amazing never leaves me.
My wife, dog and I visited Grand Haven back in July. We stopped at the beach, and walked around town. We absolutely loved it there. Our dog, Cece, was a big hit with the townspeople. Grand Haven is one good reason out of many why I want to move to the Grand Rapids area, there is absolutely no shortage of great beach towns to spend a day, or maybe a weekend.
I spent my high school summers here at a now-defunct Presbyterian Church camp by Lake Michigan. I took my wife and dog there from Grand Rapids going back to Illinois. It was my first visit to Saugatuck in 35 years. I'm looking to move to the Grand Rapids area, and one of the best things about living in the GR area is that Saugatuck, among other beach towns, is 30 minutes away.
What are your thoughts about Walker and Comstock Park? I've stayed at Walker during my many trips to Grand Rapids, and I've visited Comstock Park also. That's the area I'm mostly interested in buying a home, with the addition of Rockford. Belmont is also in the running as well.
We have a whole video on Walker where you can learn some more here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BWbE4rVU3oY.htmlsi=Tv69FU3sJDJ4iXjT We also have a few different Rockford videos too. Grand Rapids is probably one of the best places to live in America. Isn't to big and isn't to small. Has all the amenties one would want and alot of good surrounding suburbs to live in. I live about 12 mins from the City and it's amazing to live in Grand Rapids. I can't think of anywhere else to live that's better that's isn't a place with a high cost of living.
Public Transportation (The rapid bus line) Is miles ahead in quality over other buses I've used. They have a very decent schedule, and Uber and Lyft are available in town if you need to get somewhere outside of those hours or to go places not on bus lines. Not even to mention the free dash bus
Hello Sir, I am a RU-vid Video SEO Expert, Your video looks great But I have found many problems in your channel due to which views and likes are low in your channel, I have sent an email mentioning all the problems, please see the email.
GR and it's satellite towns are well over a million people, and it is a growing area. I live in GR now, but have an attractive employment opportunity in Dearborn. I am torn as I will miss my beloved GR and it's proximity to Lake Michigan, and am fearful of the crime and violence anywhere near Detroit, or is that fear no longer warranted? Is the detroit area safer than MSM would describe?
Moving here from Philly last Summer, I love the Gerald R. Ford airport. I travel for business quite a bit and most of my destinations domestically can be non-stop. 5 min. TSA lines are hard to beat and not worth the cost of TSA pre-check.
Wake surfing in these smaller lakes is not a good idea. Particularly if they are shallow and narrow in spots. The ballast used to make a surf wake carries all the way to shore and dissipates slowly. I lived on a 400 acre lake that was shaped more narrow with big open areas. I never filled my ballast tanks and surfed until we built on a larger lake. Much larger at 5,900 acres with areas near 30' deep. That area and depth is needed to mitigate any damage to the lake bottom and shoreline.
It's gay. It's ping pong masquerading as tennis. It's for old rich people. Here at the jersey shore in all the rich areas by the beach it has taken over ALL of the tennis courts all summer long with rich middle age white people. It's nauseating. That's pickle ball
Are there people of colour in this neighborhood? I am sorry for asking this question, I don't mean to be offensive. Also, what about crime rate? Shootings? I applied for a job in Grand Rapids and that introduced me to this city and I have been watching many videos about the city. Got scared because I read the crime rate is high in the city.
