You're not lying, I can tell by now, fookin' beautiful trap, next time have the control indicator displayed, just for quick reference. I'll try to place the vv at the bow of the landing area as you did.
Thanks mate - if you mean training to fly the Tomcat around the boat, I'd recommend making a handful of missions where you can practice boat recoveries and tanking. I think its important to vary the conditions in those missions as well (sunrise/sunset/midday, high/low wind over the deck) so you're not just building muscle memory for one set of conditions. Recording your flying is great as well - if you fly a good pass, clip it and watch it back. Try and debrief it, pick out the mistakes, and learn your habits so you can correct them, the same way they do IRL
Thanks - I don't really put much stock into the AI LSO grades, if I really want to see how a pass was I'll clip it like in this video and grade it myself
Thanks! I didn't make the original mission, I just edited it with the units/skins/statics I wanted. Here's the link for the original: www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2167742/ I've made several missions using this as a template, it's very easy to modify
@@starfighter1395 Agreed - I kind of stumbled upon a skin pack with these sweet F-5 skins from KL0083, here they are: www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3307874/?sphrase_id=10566034
No lying here, this really was #1000. To date my DCS logbook currently reads 1,078 traps in the F-14A. There's another 252 in the -B, but I don't fly it anymore E: I also posted a video of my 700th trap a few months ago
It says his 1000th cap in the title, mate. You'll be a beast at it too at the point, we'll get there some day. I just started learning the F-14 and i'm having a blast, just because how difficult it is! (also the module is fucking awesome.)
VF-1 is my favorite as well! I did skins for the whole squadron, here's the link for 101 shown in this vid if you'd like: www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319613/
Very chad like, worthy of a lot of respect ! Being able to take down targets in the Tomcat is cool, but being able to land like this is a thousand times more impressive in my eyes !
