To everyone who is too ignorant to know or lacks common sense to realize, this is a recruitment demonstration at a college for fun. Their real training for CQC practices very scrappy, and violent techniques. They would obviously not do this in a real combat situation.
@@BritishMillitaryEditsit’s really not, if you get in a situation where your guns been taken and you have bandits with knives coming at you you’ll need to know what to do
1. If your weapon is incapacitated or you for whatever reason can't use it, this is damn useful I'll tell you. 2. Military service will stay with you for life, it's not just for potential wars.
I refuse to believe that they are taught that a suplex is a viable move in close range. Other countries special forces must be laughing as the Royal Marines instead of ballet dancing and twirling in unarmed CQC.
You watching a different video too the rest of us mate. You a yank. ? Our Royal Marnie COMMANDOS are the BEST. Listen to whats being said would help you. 😊🇬🇧
All good techniques, excellently demonstrated. The only exception being the last pistol disarm from behind. The disarmer moved in front of the pistol during the disarm - that is a potential death sentence for him.
This is SUPPOSED to be WWF shit. These guys are trying to recruit new Royal Marines by showing off and having a bit of fun. These guys can kill with ease, and most likely have before. But of course, with moves much deadlier, if way more boring, than this.
1990s A friends brother was based at Lympstone, he specialised in teaching unarmed combat . He was built like a ferret on steroids and fought like one too. He didn't really function quite right in civvy Street though. Bloody shame.
Its good but all rehearsed set pieces; A real CQ Fight is against an enemy that can and will fight back with every shocking move to immobilise the aggressor; in a fight both are the aggressor.
Devils advocate here: But you see in most sports that teammates will spank each other as a way of saying "well done". This is also the RM, if they can't handle a spanking they probably shouldn't be there
I thought this was a really sloppy display by the Royal Marines. I’m a massive fan of them and have seen this routine many times before and this seemed rushed and kinda half arsed
@Adam Marshall that wasn’t really up for debate. I’ve seen this display many times and this one in comparison lacks (in my opinion) the standard that it usually meets. Having said that in no way am I questioning the ability of any of these commandos. The fact that they have earned that title is enough. But as any other person who understands the calibre of expertise that the Royal Marines demand I would have liked to seen the usual stricter display that I have seen multiple times before. This standard is what separates the corp from any other infantry unit surely.
Sadly, the world is being filled with more and more dumb people who cannot understand that this is simply a demonstration, it’s not supposed to be brutal, with actual punches and kicks, if these guys were to fight to actually defend themselves, lives will be lost and this video would obviously be a memorial of some sort
this is probably the most common English accent out there, its a slightly rougher version of the ones you hear in tv like harry potter, same sort of area
He did that to get distance and to not get hurt. If he took the blow, he would've fallen right next to the guy, so instead, he did a dive-roll over it.
