Now that you have been building decks for awhile, how do you feel about tuff blocks vs poured footings? I see you did poured in your Seattle home so are they your preference? Thanks again
Excellent video from start to finish. I was going to use Tuff Blocks but they’re too high which prevents my back door from opening. So I’ll be using the ABA ZMAX Galvanized Adjustable Standoff Post Base instead with a bunch of joist hangers.
I've thought about doing this. I have exactly the same layout. I'm tired of water sitting on patio and growing mold. I have to pressure wash it several times a year. I worry about rodents setting up shop under the deck though.
great job! you could build a nice bench / planter / firewood storage unit across the patio tight to the house wall - and conceal all of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing connections.
Tutorial with narration can be found HERE if interested. Thanks for watching and all the support: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UhmCE-o5pbM.htmlsi=SjGBL76j4HN2rYb8
It looks pretty, but I have one question to ask. How come no mention of what those flat head lag screws are actually screwing into when you mount the posts. Clearly, they are not only using the vinyl plank below it to hold the post in place.
Good question and there is blocking underneath, which is explained in the tutorial video found here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pCm8ccRtBH4.html
Hi. BYOT=bring your own tools...? Some people seem to think that "asmr"=background music... If background music="asmr", then what category does "original audio only" fall into...? If people want background music, there's plenty other channels that would fullfil them...original audio only is a "dying breed" currently...🙏
Bring Your Own Tools is correct! thanks so much for asking and I think this is more ASMR then background music. In my opinion at least. Hope you enjoyed the video and thanks so much for watching.
