Hello! I'm self proclaimed composer. I write music, primarily metal & rock, and do metal & rock covers of songs I like, usually with high degree of changes and reharmonisation. I upload weekly on Saturdays, sometimes on Sundays.
I know only bare minimum of music theory, can't play any instrument, can't sing, and have extremely bad musical ear. But I enjoy writing music and it's all that matters.
I like it, totally getting the folk vibes at some part. great job fam, although the first and second verse parts feel pretty light compared to the rest.
The thing was totally inspired by Irish folk. Verses are the weakest part for me. Spend a lot of time on them, couldn't make them better, and thus it's released as is.
@@NaySan I'd do the same on Fl studio but im not really experienced yet to make something worthwhile. I'd just remix stuff or make my own which takes me a literal week to make a good chord progression. Plus: i am a brainlet when it comes to mixing, but i can tell this was put together very well. Very nice job on this.
@@UnrealNinebreaker I'm also not exactly experienced producer by any stretch of imagination. My mixes sound atrocious in mono, and handle low end very poorly. But I don't care that much about it. When I listen to music and like a song, I rarely care how it's mixed. Thus, the main focus for me is in composing/songwriting to make my music worth listening.

For older tracks it's straight up impossible, because I don't have a lot of plugins I was using before, nor any wish to recreate my old setups just to work on a single ancient track. For newer tracks (around 20 newest on the channel) it's doable, but without involving money.

Not doable. It's impossible to separate vocals from the music in this song with any resemblance of quality. Nothing I can do until separation algorithms become better. Sorry.
Thank you =) Technically any song can be transformed into metal, some simply require mood/vibe change to fit into the genre, like in attention's case. The only two conditions for me are: 1) I didn't mind hearing the original 31883197 times, aka I like the song. Otherwise covering it will become a torture very fast. 2) I can make it in a reasonable amount of time. For example, I will not cover bebop jazz, because in order to do that I will have to figure out how this genre works first, and it will take a lot of time.
I feel like the need to say this The emotions you put onto these covers can even transcend through the phone screen like I’m feeling such feeling that resonates with my heart so strongly that let me gasp without words to describe it . This is just amazing , the energy you vibrates through these sounds . I don’t quite know what happened behind the scenes but there just a lot going on emotionally behind these covers . Keep up with these amazing things you’re doing . Perhaps it’s not reaching out so much right now and not everyone will understand it immediately but this passion needs to live on as you’re channeling with others through music with such trueness to your core essence and it’s just beautiful ❤️
Thank you, I'm flattered =) Considering that I cannot play any instrument, don't know music theory, and my music writing looks like a cat walking on piano keys, I think what happens behind the scene is straight up offensive for any real musician who puts real blood, sweat and tears into their music. It just so happens that I like what I'm doing, and some people, apparently, too.
@@NaySanEvery single sound is a beat itself and everyone have different ways to approach them and there are different ways to arrange them . Sometimes , the inspiration can come from very weird places and weird times but I don’t think that makes you less professional than others . Sometimes , we wished we could have some of the things that others had Sometimes you wish your wording can be a bit like this artist or like that artist or the other artist but in the end of the day , think of what would YOU write , how do YOU want to approach this . I think you’re more powerful than what you see within yourself Despite the restrictions you have , you still try to work from what you have and make a banger out if it You understood other singer emotions within the songs and You put a little spice with your arrangement and expand the original song further with some of your own flavor in the instrumental but still keep the core feeling of that song . That’s not something everyone can do . You can apply that into your own writing as well You shouldn’t be afraid of writing music , steel can’t become needle without a crafter . You should be afraid that tomorrow when you wake up , there so many possibilities so many new things you can try with your voice with so many arrangements that could have happened but you choose to stop without engaging further. During a bad day and nothing seems to cheer up , a line of word of encouragement can even lighten someones mood , take that in music and it could work even better . Just like what I’m doing now to you but sorry if it is a little bit long to read 😅
@@thiendao9598 You don't need to support me that hard lol =) I do music because it's fun to me. How much better someone than me is irrelevant. I only do music when I want to. Because it's not my job. So I always have fun. Mood cannot affect that. Smack my bitch up was covered right after I've lost my main HDD with all the software, presets, templates, and unfinished projects. Covering that song helped me, because making music is fun. I can do whatever I want with music I make because the first person I try to satisfy is myself. Otherwise, there's no fun. I don't care if I fail. Failing means learning, and learning means unlocking new possibilities, which improves fun. I will never call my music good. The second I do so, I will stop growing as a composer and producer. Thus, making music will become routine with no fun involved. I will never call myself a real musician. This word means performing music, while I draw music with the mouse instead of performing it. But I don't care, because it has nothing to do with fun I have.
