We believe, if nature could talk, it’d tell us all to get out more.
It’d say whoever you are, wherever you’re from, you belong out here.
It’d say you’re all welcome so come adventure, destress, feel better. It’d ask us to please be kinder. To have its back like it has ours. It’d say protect me, be conscious and work together - because we owe it all to the great outdoors.
It’d say bring your friends, your community and bring your family, let’s all connect. Let´s come together and tell the world what we believe nature wants them to hear. Let’s go, unite and keep pushing what’s possible. Let´s inspire every human being to find their own individual summits.
Let´s enable all humans to live a more connected, conscious and adventurous life.
Absolutely an incredible adventure! Combining paragliding, climbing and skiing in a beautiful part of our world. One of my favorite films I have watched. Great job!
there's a lot of mythologizing here, and rewriting her personality. but if you've watched her before she's not one of the humble, friendly, almost shy athletes. she has an enormous ego and often shows a real 'fuck you' attitude to fans and other competitors. that's not all bad necessarily.. but trying to turn her into this 'aw shucks, i'm not so special' type of person is rewriting reality. and of course, it's really not necessary. you can be a kind, human-centered great athlete, and you can be a complete asshole who's a great athlete. neither negates that. but trying to make her into something she's not is a very old school traditional thing to do.
That cut keeps opening up because thats rock and you're a human. every time that cut opens up you are imposing your physiological will on that rock and your blood washes over that rock as you overcome that rock face.
Life isn’t fair. Had I had a good childhood support system with good parents this is somewhere I could be in life today. I know comparison is the thief of joy. But I feel no joy
Not sure why you would pick out this top 99.999th percentile human being out of all the ones you could compare yourself to. There are many examples of people with terrible support systems that have excelled in life, and many more that have had even more support but failed. Just do your best every day and see what happens next.
Really interesting to listen to different perspectives. I love power hiking the steep sections but sometimes the running just feels easier - even if you are only going at the same speed!
power = torque * rpm If you are a strong person with high torque on your legs, you could get good power just hiking uphill with long powerful strides and low cadence. If you are a weaker person with low torque on your legs, it would be easier for you to go uphill running with short light steps and high cadence
Beautifully produced video, leading viewers to care about the person, not just her accomplishments and future prospects. I'm a new fan in America, and I'll be rooting for her in Paris.
