thank you so much! we really tried our best to capture this beautiful property, but to experience it firsthand was even better. This was definitely one of our most memorable unique stays!
Great video and glad to see you guys back to posting on here! I defintiely would be intersted in this lifestyle. Liv is not so interested in downsizing but I believe an airbnb is a great place to start and see for yourself
thanks so much for watching and glad that you had a great time on your trip. we'll definitely have to check out your video. we'd love to see it in the colder months.
Wow amazing job filming this. You captured my attention from the start! You edited this perfectly. I am very scared of heights but I ziplined in Hawaii when it was over I loved it not sure if I can do it again this was amazing it looked like it did go on and on but gorgeous. You sounded like you loved it and I could feel your excitement! Fantastic video. Have a great New Year best wishes for more adventures and much growth with your channel!
Thank you so much for watching and we are really glad that you enjoyed our video!!! It was an absolute blast to make, and laying down horizontal definitely added to the intensity. Glad that you conquered your fear in Hawaii!! I can only imagine how beautiful the view must have been! Have a happy holiday and happy new year to you as well!!
Thank you for watching! This view was gorgeous and the drive in was quite an adventure as well! I wish we had traveled to Puerto Rico so much sooner. There are some really great unique stays there!
Wow I love your vlogs, there so peaceful and tranquil. Even through times of turmoil. I was really waiting on this vlog and happy you guys gave the real. I myself would have been way too scared to drive through that mountain pass, especially at night. When I come I have so many things to do and see. I may try to go when it's a little warmer to avoid some of those issues. Thanks for the transparency with prices and for thinking quick on your toes about changing your plans. Love all of this!
Another great video! You guys are really good at explaining how you traveled and why you made certain decisions during your trip. Chris made me LOL when he explained the sleeping accommodations in the van.
Thank you so much for watching!!! Those sleeping accommodations were no joke. We were trying to save money which is why we went with the smaller van option but it was rough....😂😂. We ended up sleeping foot to head because it was just too hard for us to sleep on the same side.
I really enjoyed watching Part I of your adventure. The van looks like a great way to get around. Iceland is a destination that wasn’t on my list of places to visit, but when I started seeing photos and videos of the waterfalls and stunning landscapes, I was convinced that a visit would be in my future.
Yes definitely put it on your list. Even if you decide not to do the van route you can still stay in the Capital, explore the Golden Cirlce, and then take bus tours out to various places but we would highly recommend the van because you can explore so much more. And even if you don't do want to do a campervan you can still just rent a car and stay in Airbnb's throughout the country. You wont regret it. Winter is beautiful but summer is even better because it doesn't get dark. Thank you so much for watching!
OMG I LOVEEEE THIS, You guys are making Iceland high on my priority list. I heard it was really expensive so I tried to avoid it but now I am like it's a must visit quickly. I loved how in detail you guys went and the advice. You captured this so well. I Hope part 2 comes out soon
Thanks for watching. There was so much footage to edit but part 2 will be out soon. And YES!! it is extremely expensive which is why we've only traveled there off peak cause we can get flights for half of the price. We'll do a full price breakdown on the next video but it's absolutely not a budget destination at all but there are certainly ways to cutt costs we"ll make sure we touch on.
Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed the video. To shoot this scene we were using the Mavic Pro 1. There is an active tracking feature available so once you set it on a specific target it will follow you.
@@here_and_theredc We called and discussed what we wanted to do. As an engineer I worked out the details with the staff well in advance. They were awesome. So glad you got to do it too! It was AWESOME! I screwed up the Cool Runnings phrase at the start of our run but we were miked so that was cool in itself.
Super fun!!!! We did it in the summer but we need to do it on ice! Thanks for sharing! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c5indvhVf6c.html
Thanks for sharing. I have tickets for the bobsled experience next month. How did you mount your camera? It looked like the driver's helmet might have had a GoPro mount, but I didn't notice them on an of the other helmets.
Thanks for watching Courtney. We were able to use our GoPro using a mount which is on some of the helmets. Just be sure to ask for one with a mount when they fit you for your helmet and sit second in the sled behind the driver and you should have no problems. Hope you enjoy!!! You'll love it!
We used a One X2 and wireless mikes so $1000 dollars in gear to capture it, but we have made good use of the gear since for other vlogs.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c5indvhVf6c.html
This just looks so relaxing and peaceful. With all the snow it looks like a beautiful winter wonderland. I could definitely see myself staying here and enjoying every peaceful minute :) It also looks like a wonderful romantic getaway for couples. I can see why you and your husband enjoy staying in this little cabin in the woods.... Thanks for sharing...
This is really pretty, great job on filming..Question ..where do you park and is it a lil trek to get to cabin? I ask because that would be the best part of it all
Thank you for watching! We really appreciate it. The trek to the cabin depends on the time of year. We've stayed here in winter and summer and we park about 5 minutes away from the cabin . In summer the walk was not strenuous at all because there is a walking path. However in winter we definitely had to use crampons because the path can get extremely icy! It was certainly a challenge but definitely part of the fun!
@@here_and_theredc 5 minutes is not bad, but maybe in the night as you stated it was not well lit..Anyways that makes it part of the journey and fun!!! I was just curious. Thanks for the great entertaining vids, love em
🤣🤣🤣 yes as much as we love tentrr we still have not gotten used to using the loo in the tent. For those who are brave enough, it can be moved outdoors. We've also stayed in some tentrrs that dont have a loo, but the owner built an outhouse instead.
