That match was so disappointing because we played so well in the 1st half but things just came apart in the second half unfortunately. But I think it gave the team the confidence they needed to go on to beat the ABs in 2016 and win a couple of 6 Nations. And we haven't looked back since... :)
Thats like a mosquito for Bakkies. He was mixing it with the hardest springboks, straight from school and working as a bouncer in a rough part of South Africa, bashing peoples brains in every night, knocked 3 springboks out when they had to fight eachother at camp Staaldraad. He is according to Bernard Laporte, the strongest player he has ever seen.If he you hate him it just re-inforces how strong he was,he didnt encounter another player to match him in his career and wherever he went trophies flew into that cabinet and stopped when he left.
As a youngster I watched Bill Beaumont lions tour in Port Elizabeth my home town. South Africans love the tours from the lions. The emotions run deep on both sides. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
This is how I learned how to tackle and I still swear by it. Hit low and let the ball carrier fall over his own center of gravity. No HIAs back in the day.
Rob Kearney, 6'2'' and over 90 kegs.... Hardly a small man like..... SBW was probably off balance or off game, and RK on his..... Theres very little between professional athletes physically, look at Cheslin Kolbe or Aaron smith for petes sake!
Healy is a journeyman of a player, the school yard bully mentality SBW should of have gave him a few cracks to that basketball head of his and left his face looking like a bowl of jelly.
