You should explain well what mm socket using to remove every bolts not just a big socket and zoom in for better view on what's happening there so others can learn well on how to remove everything and do am overhaul . 5/10 Video
Glad you did this video! I have 22 years in the trades in custom high-end builds and I get stuck doing alot of the mock ups for the design team while waiting for the subs. I grabbed the MiG 250 pro and it’s great for what I’m doing, this Plasma will be added to the collection this weekend. I can say with all honesty that without the videos you guys post doing end to end reviews, I’d end up with an over priced (for what I’m doing) or under performing equipment.
I've been asked to do a few reviews lately and i like to actually real world test these items over time to see if they are good or not. Seems like all the other reviews on this drone were done in a day and got good reviews. This thing is no more than a crappy expensive toy! Thanks for watching!
Typical rush to get it out and get money coming it. I wouldnt expect anything less from china typically but i have seen some really good things come from there like the welder i just reviewed.
I sent them an email warning that its not gonna get a great review from me but that was before i shot the last flight of the drone when it glitched out. They just gave an auto responce of "oh sorry our drone didnt meet your expectations" It was fun shooting it down and then seeing if it would fly again.
Thanks, it really does seem to be a great machine. A buddy of mine put his order in for one already. I have more wire and gas and will be doing the update soon as i finish this other review im working on. I also got a couple consumables kits from yeswelder and they look awesome as well. I will show them on the part 2 to this review. I can't wait to see if they have the synergic settings for aluminum spot on this time. They took everything we said in the video and have made changes already! Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
Cv boots, axles, notorious key stuck in ignition, replaced transmission at 30K, the harmonic balancer seems to be loose, rack and pinion is fragile. I feel you im tired of my 22 midnight edition
Thanks for your time in this in-depth video. For me it makes more sense to just buy this for $190 that fits with the machine but watching you build this was definitely educational. Great work!
Thanks for watching and commenting! For sure if you can get it that cheap, thats the way to go. Up here where i live, finding the attachments to buy the is the trick, though they are getting to be more common now! I like to build things..lol
Since you're using Red Beard's schematic, I'll post what I posted on his video: There is one case where the operator can get bit - where one of the solid-state relays shorts out and stays on. The heater will still operate normally, and the heater will still be disabled when the door is opened, leading one to think that everything is fine. BUT: the relay that is stuck on is still connecting voltage through the entire length of the heater, presenting a potential shock hazard - even if it is thermally cold. The right way (more expensive, of course) is to have the door switch operate a contactor (a big relay) that removes power from both ends of the heater. The cheap less safe way is to add an indicator light to either end of the heater and neutral (not ground). If it's on when the door is opened, it's a red flag that the wires still have voltage on them.
@@FabbinAdventures did you find it took much backlash/ play out the box? I’m from the uk and have built a hotrod using the lhd Suzuki box but I’m getting nearly 1/4 turn of the wheel play before connection with the steering linkage, I was wondering if this kit would take some of that out?
No, not that hot, its a problem yeswelder is aware of, they supposedly have the update for it already. I'll install the update and try again, stay tuned!
@AH-mp5di oh i would think so yeah, they listened to all my suggestions and said they made changes or the engineers are working on it. They are very responsive to my emails. It really is a pretty awesome machine. I have more gas now and im waiting on some .045 wire and i'll test and update the video
I'm hearing that this chainsaw only take Proyama replacement bars and chains and not something like an Oregon. Is this true? If so, that will not make me buy it. I would welcome your thoughts. Thank you.
If you want to weld thicker metals with an .030 wire you have to switch to a higher wire setting then go back and set the metal setting and set the thicker metal than go back to wire setting and switch it back to .030. you can also do the pulse setting on steel.
@@FabbinAdventures You could've just accepted the fact that you misspoke and moved on. But instead, you double down. Maybe do a youtube search for "welding stinger". Look at the first 20 videos that come up. Have you really worked in a welding shop? No actual welder calls the mig torch a stinger. Some people call it a mig gun. That's fine too. The stinger is for stick welding. Clearly you didn't make it through a welding certification without learning that. Go find one video on youtube where somebody else calls the mig torch a stinger. I'll wait. Viewers get the point that you don't know basic terminology. Anyway, thanks for the video.
@genekeeler2690 jesus man, its just wording settle down. I dont claim to have a certificate thats why i brought in a friend. Yes i worked in a couple welding shops and have run miles and miles of steel wire and a bit of aluminum wire, not one of them ever called it a torch, torches are for flame. Maybe it was called a mig gun or gun a time or two, buts always been called a stinger so thats what i tend to call it. It doesnt matter what i call the damn thing, the viewer get the idea. Put your hood back down and keep welding, move on bud.
Thx very much. Bit confused about the settings for aluminum. You said that initially the aluminum weld looked too hot so you increased the wire feed speed and decreased the voltage a tad. How does increasing the wire feed speed make the weld less hot? I am a real newbie when it comes to welding so am asking why not to be critical but to learn. Thx again.
The wire is burning back to the tip faster that its coming out, so increasing wire speed pushes more wire to the puddle, cooling it slightly and so does dropping the volts.
Just purchased the qh13r model think it's a great exvator plan on using it to make a camp new Brunswick like the tickle trunk reference watch that show my whole childhood
Thanks for the video. I have 1987 Samurai, that has been sitting for 5 years while I rebuilt the transmission. It is running kinda hot. So I am going to some of the things you did. Here in California.
I just run it at 60 psi all the time unless i have to cut a bunch of parts from thinner material like 3/16 then i set the machine up like its supposed to be so i dont hit the high temp/duty cycle. Thanks for watching.
My '19 duramax zr2 has been great. I agree on the spare and the shock mounts, they both suck. And yes, the spool valve shocks cost a fortune. Just replaced mine at 214000 km. Mileage and towing are great. Off roading is good. The narrow cab gets me down a lot more trails here in BC. Comfort-wise, the seats arent made for pudgy old guys.
Before or after the gear install? I have alot of play in the steering after the steering gear install a few years ago. I need to go back and adjust the steering box again. Thanks for watching.
Hey Ron, I'm new to your channel, i own a similar machine and I'm trying to make my own brackets, would you be so kind to tell me the brand of that robotic arm that you used to trace and plasma cut the metal sheet? Thanks in advance, btw great videos !
The S10 ZR2 was bad for the same stuff. The entire front end setups in these trucks are too light duty for a truck that sits up that high and is advertised as an off road capable vehicle.
Thats unfortunate, i really had high hopes for the zr2, but it failed miserably in my eyes. I was really hoping it would be stiff competition to the toyota and ford offerings....nope. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your video and telling your story. I’m looking to replace my 2003 S10 Crew Cab with another Crew Cab, so it’s good to hear advice straight from the owners.
My experience may differ from yours and others, so check them out for yourself. This was a 2019 model, the newer ones have probably changed. Thanks for watching!
