i have always loved jrpg's and Japanese games in general ever since pokemon red/blue on gameboy. my main goal is to raise awareness of the games in this genre and maybe get you to try something new or maybe a classic jrpg stick with me and your bound to see something new!
Played this years ago... (spoiler) All of the charas were died, but then "revived". At that time my english wasnt good enough to understand but apparently they became data, i thought its just spirits
10 out of 10 game. If you want to try and support them more check out Expedition 33. They may reboot this game or do a remake if it does well. Same combat system but brand new franchise. 100% CHECKING IT OUT! im sure you would love to see a remake or reboot of this amazing franchise too. Insane boss music for this fight lmao. been so long kind of forgot how amazing it was.

Nice work! A very memorable boss for me, and I'm glad to have found a video that showcased beating it- while also how hard it is. I think it was really the boss that required me to learn how you're supposed to play the game. Combo strings, mono-element decks, etc.
This fight lasted like 4 turns for me because by this time I already had 99 magic, auto-makakaja ring, and agidyne with fire amp and fire boost. So I dealt hellla damage😂. Awesome scene tho

I stupidly didn't see the bright orange save flower right before, so I ran into this boss fight with Ice Parade, one of my "kill mobs" decks equipped. Thankfully, there was just enough healing for it to actually be a pretty easy fight.
15:09 I've been there, and you always get sweaty. Amazing recoveries. This guy made Malpercio III look like child's play in EW/LO. (To be fair Malpercio III is incredibly easy if you're well-leveled and properly equipped) 16:03 aaaand it got worse. Seriously one of the best final boss fights I've ever fought.
God I absolutely loved this fight when I was young. I losed it like 40 times and I can say I loved every part of it. That theme. The crazy 3 bosses at the same time. I love all 3 of em and fighting all 3 is just crazy. Finally managed to beat em after a lot of patience, luck and grinding
having just recently beat the game again , this final boss is strategically very disappointing , and his attacks take way to long -.- , took me a full hour.....

The Baten Kaitos franchise was truly a unique and intelligent offering to gaming. I think more kids should get to play these types of games apart from the usual. Loved it as a young teen myself back in the mid 2000s.
