Welcome to our RU-vid channel. My name is Lisa, and my wife's name is Megan. Follow along with us and our two crazy pups, Callie & Chaz, as we adventure out of our comfort zone to experience what life has to offer. Our goal is to inspire others to seize the day.
We hope you enjoy our content. It should be very entertaining, as we are a little cooky, ok, maybe a lot cooky.

Megan is a travel RN, I work remotely in IT. We are embarking on a new chapter of our lives, living and traveling full-time in our Class C RV. We love to travel, motorcycling, cooking, building things, and just a huge variety of cool and interesting endeavors. Please keep comments relevant, friendly, and respectful.

Love your remodel. We also have a 2016 Greyhawk 29ME. We cannot figure out how to remove valance above dinette. We have removed all the screws but something seems to be holding it from above! Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello and sorry for the delay. It is definitely a screw that you are missing. The valences are actually screwed to the blinds, which are screwed to the wall and ceiling. We HATED them and they had to go.

Great job ladies. I saw your post on "The Flock". My wife and I both work 100% remote and we're looking into buying a Class C. Just sold our big Tiffin Class A after 2 years because we didn't like driving it, just too dang big. Looking forward to getting into a Greyhawk soon and this is one project we'd like to do. Let's face it, the dinettes in these things are kinda useless and very uncomfortable.

UPDATE: I just want to throw a shout out to Lane and Tracy in service. You will not meet a more knowledgeable service team in the industry. You want them working on your rig. I cannot express my gratitude more on the amazing customer service these guys give. 10-star treatment, honest, dependable, reasonable and they go the extra mile. Im so not used to this kind of customer service. Bish's better never let this team go. Lane could be making $$$$$$ w a large manufacturer but instead, chooses Bish's to work for. They are lucky!

What do you expect from monthly costs: Payment Insurance Fuel (when working. So not too much). Heating Dump Stations & will you be doing camping grounds etc or like Walmart lots etc
@TravelThirstyGals
@TravelThirstyGals 7 месяцев назад
Hello, we will be staying in a KOA here in Montana, $725 a month. So no fuel. We will be using Propane for heat, electric from campground. Staying in the campground is far cheaper than Airbnb. Insurance is cheap. Around $80/month. At the end of the day, we are doing this for the experience. It's been a bucket list of ours to travel across the country. So, as long as Megan has secured nursing contracts, no plan to go home for the next few years. New video coming up on Sunday. Stay tuned!

Great video Lisa, just opened my fridge and trying to set it to freezer, should I let it drop on it’s own to -4 or is it ok to FF right out the box? I’m so happy I got the 85 as opposed to 65, perfect for camping! Do you have a video on setting up the battery? Thanks!

Hi, what size and type is your battery? And what inverter are you using, brand, model, type and size... Thanks
@TravelThirstyGals
@TravelThirstyGals 5 лет назад
Honestly it does not effect performance using through the inverter, noticeably.

It runs on 12v and you are converting 12v DC to 115v ac, then back to dc inside the refrigerator. Each conversion wastes some energy. Just trying to help.
@timgraham7851
@timgraham7851 2 года назад
It works, just wastes energy. On 12v DC the current draw is around 2A. Using an inverter requires 10x that.
@chapter4travels
@chapter4travels 5 лет назад
Why don't you run it off the 12 volt, it's more efficient that way?
@docalexander2853
@docalexander2853 5 лет назад
It is made for 110. It is not more efficient to run 12V. RV's have propane or electric refrigerators. The 12 V RV refrigerators just help hold the temp for awhile.

@@chapter4travels Then it makes no sense to run it on 110V like you say.
@timgraham7851

@@docalexander2853 This model has a 12v compressor with a power converter inside the unit. There are two power receptacles on the side. One for 120v AC and one for 12v DC. 12v DC would indeed be more efficient.
