The title is misleading. These are current bikes. I've been a vegetarian for 30 years or so but, even I couldn't take the amount of 'cheese' that the robot voice is churning out. Get a real person to narrate the video.
At 73 I’m riding a 1996 Honda AX1 250 cc, which though old it’s still doing its job. Considering of buying a CFmoto 450clc for about 1/6th the price of those monster, super heavy bikes. Spending all this money on a motorcycle I simply find very irrational.
Don't the RE 650cc twins deserve a mention too?… Seriously capable bikes for everyday riding that are easy on the eye too, unlike some on your list which ride well, but really have been smacked with an ugly stick. I've had my Interceptor for 5 years now, and she's still my 'new baby'. Fun on my local country lanes, and sweeping A roads, yet capable on motorways and autoroutes, and the perfect bike for chasing my brother on the mountain roads of SW France, where he lives.
The right side of some of the bikes like the Sportster S. Look okay. But the left side looks unfinished. They should have just left off all the plastic engine trim. It makes it look like a toy.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I never liked the " murdered out" look. Too much satin black where chrome, silver and cast metal look should be. much less all the focus on naked bikes these days. How about making them Retro Sport Cafe's? Or that weird balloon tire with the custom hotrod front fender? I hate balloon tires in front! I love the RS look from my day of cafe' racers, or the Lowrider Custom Cruiser look. Like the Yamaha V Star 250 in my videos. Made to compete with the Sportster, looking like the Sportster of the mid-80's.
Those are some ugly azz bikes. $1,200.00 apiece or 3 grand for all of 'em would be excessive. Full face helmets required so no one will recognize you on one of those ugly azz bikes. Sheet...
The cbr300r is a wasted product. Please release a $4k 400cc touring bike with decent suspension under 325 lbs. It's 2024. I feel like honda is still trying to cash in on it's 2012 junk.
Best bang for buck , Royal Enfield. Great bikes at great prices . Enfield is for those who aren’t crazy speed freaks . Their bikes range from 350-650 cc . But more fun then should be legal
If I know motorcyclists my age (68) ,,to be told this is a bike for an older rider ,,they will tell you to F**k off,,no one wants to be told you are riding an old mans/womans bike ... and they all look crap
It’s like having a colonoscopy with a garden hose, while eating Cheetos with a monkey wearing cowboy boots… just before a hurricane that blows your grandma’s nightgown over an electric fence… as she rides a rocket-powered bicycle she bought at the flea market!
I am 65 and I don't know if it's just me but I feel unstable holding the bike while swinging a leg over and balanced on one foot. I can do it but it just feels strange and unsettling. BTW I ride a '74 Norton Commando.
They don’t look like Harley’s. They look like metrics. That’s not terrible, it’s just different. It leaves the door open for Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, especially based on cost. It just feels like the designers look at pictures, design on a cad machine or some hi tech platform, but have no hands on basis. They are committee designed on zoom. No face to face, no talking off grid as they walk away asking about this issue or that. It’s a corporate bike. It meets all the check boxes, and the corporations online staff and reviewers love them. It’s an inside win for everyone except most riders.
Moto guzzi, w800, and the 650 Royal infield are the only Retro bikes on this line up although both the Beemer, and the trumpet scrambler were very cool...
I have a 99 Harley Softail Custom with 67,000 miles on it. I have had to replace one stator, but other than that just normal maintenance. Not bad for a 25 year old motorcycle. With mine the proof is in the details. It has a record of reliability.
