Thanks for sharing the video. Really nice. I bought the same glider (Symphonia2 24) and fly it with a similar loading. My first SIV will be in September. Any tips based on your fresh experience? :) Do you like the 24 compared to the 23?
I wish you fun with the first SIV. In my case the 24 is less more agile,. I couldn't stall the wing for a back flight. Last year it was easier to do that. For real life conditions it's good for me :-) In a SIV I'd try to roll, do wingovers, collapse one site, both sites accelerated and not, B Stall, try to feel getting the Stall point , doing full stall with back flight and doing deep spirals. I got 15m/sec sink rate with 4,9G . Maybe next year I'll try a SAT. I never felt uncomfortable during th e SIV session with Roman from sicher-fliegen.de . And I'm doing that just for fun and getting safer for the normal flights. Always happy landings!
Your Symphonia looks really cool :) I'm on the edge of ordering one myself. I have a similar flying weight as you (~100 kg) and thinking about the 24 version. Have you managed to try a 24 size?
Hello Rene, just one more question about the Symphonia: I see you fly next to some B class Phi wings a lot. Do you feel the performance of your wing is comparable? Are those B wings appear to be easier to stay up?
Hello Daniel, friends of mine flying the Beat light. Sometimes I'm faster unaccelerated, because I'm flying on upper limit, friends with beat not. In March I'd like to try a 24 (110kg) to have a comparison. My friend mostly fly longer and higher than me (+4h), but obviously he has another style. I flew my B licence with a GIN Yeti 5, 23. The best way in my opinion is it to try. Maybe Jasmin from youtube.com/@gleitschirmtestcenterkosse8652?si=ebuIdihSmurKiadE can help you - that's what we did. Hope that helps, Rene :-)
Hi Daniel, Thank you! All in with 103kg and it's a '23. Sometimes I think I need a larger one, but when I'm flying in windy conditions in the Alps, I'm fine with this setup.
@@FlyTheFriendlyBlueSkies Thanks for the reply. My flying weight is around 100 kg, and I'm also thinking of buying the 23. I think it is better to be on the higher side to minimize collapses. Good to know you have good experience with it.
Tolles Video! Dankeschön ❤ Habe meine Ausbildung im August 22 in Wasserkuppe/Lüsen gemacht, 23 nochmal einen TT-Kurs in Lüsen. Hoffe 2023 wird für mich auch so schön :)
