The National Film and Television School (NFTS) is one of the world's leading film, television and games schools.
The NFTS runs more than 40 MA, Diploma and Certificate courses - as well as numerous short courses. We have more behind the camera courses than any other film school, including core craft areas such as directing and cinematography as well as specialist areas such as script supervision and production accounting.
First established in 1971 and having celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021, the NFTS has evolved to become a leading global institution, developing some of Britain and the world’s top creative talent.
Whilst we are only able to publicly share trailers of our latest productions - do visit our website homepage for our 'Short Of The Month' - where you can watch a fresh production each month from our archive, in full!
Thank you, NFTS, for your help every step of the way! I applied and got a scholarship - you have to at least try; don't let the fees or even the idea of how to support yourself throughout the course discourage you from applying.
I want to bring to your attention a serious issue involving Craig Sweat. My company provided $148,500 worth of agency services to him, which he has failed to pay for despite numerous attempts to collect the debt. It's crucial to clarify that Craig Sweat was merely an employee of Uncle Budd and not the owner, as he falsely claimed. His misrepresentation has led to significant financial and reputational damage. He fraudulently took investment money under the guise of being the owner and ran up substantial bills that remain unpaid. Be extremely cautious in any dealings with Craig Sweat. He continues to use the publicity our company initially generated for him to attract new investments for a brand and company he does not own. It's imperative to verify the true ownership and legitimacy of the businesses he represents. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter.
I'm recently retired and I worked in TV production for many years, but it’s harder now to make decent earnings because with universities turning out thousands of good calibre media students but there are few opportunities out there for them. In my last working years I gave a talks to uni students on how to get those jobs even without the track record that employers always ask for. They want to see a list of broadcast credits and experience, but they are unwilling to give many that first chance! Starting as a runner isn't the best way in. There are smarter ways to slip in, as if you've always been there, don’t stay anywhere too long, build that list. You only have to 10% better than the rest to make it.
Seems a mixture of racial bigotry, young ‘love’, and possible murder, a very odd movie. Not even sure I would like my kids to see it, it’s a bit sinister….Good acting though! Saw it on Disney Plus
YES! I repeat - YES! I am 45 years old with tons of 3D/vfx/cinematography/etc behind and I would LOVE to be in this company as student again - your atmosphere is so sweet!
This was such a lovely conversation. There seem to be very few long-form conversations with Mr. Davies available online. Thank you very much! And what a shame that Davies, once more, was not given funding for the project, which he mentions at the end of this conversation, the adaptation of The Post Office Girl.
Good luck Kate & Zyg. I loved the quality of this film,. You respectfully showed both sides of the story about the dingo. It must have taken ages to edit it. Thank you for deciding to come to Durong Dingo Sanctuary and study my wild dingoes, some of which were a new bloodline of Fraser Island Dingoes. All the very best in your future within the magic of story telling using film.
Imagine how amazing it would be to be apart of a list like this! Gosh the ability that people have to create never ceases to amaze me. I definitely hope that I get accepted this year, would love to join this list in the future!
