i cant even get one of my treating doctors to watch a single video of your's or hauser's videos..18mths of my life going down the drain after a car crash.
What is the ‘thing’ you keep referring to in the video? She needs to fix it, but what is it called and who should she be going to to fix it? I have ligament damage around C5-C7 and every time I get an atlas orthogonal adjustment I lose it after 1-3 hours. Where should I go next?
@@breakinfree You might want to rethink your comment The following is from NCBI medical Pearls you can look it up yourself Yes, chronic neck issues can cause the styloid process to lengthen, which can lead to a rare condition called Eagle syndrome. The styloid process is a bone in the skull that's attached to the jaw by muscles and ligaments and anchors muscles in the tongue and larynx. When neck issues or TMJ cause too much force on the styloid process, it can become elongated, calcified, or abnormally angled. This can cause the styloid process to push into nearby structures like nerves and blood vessels, which can lead to pain, especially when moving the neck. t is a common characteristic in many of the patients we see with upper cervical spine instability.
Dr. Middleton; have you ever seen a vertebral artery that has an adhesion to the cranium as it passes through the Foramen Magnum? I've seen evidence on CT that their is some kind of membranous "coating" that continues from the surface of the Foramen Magnum, and appears to "encapsulate" the VA for about 1-1.5 cm... If this is an adhesion, it's likely to constrain free movement of the VA during rotation or extension, which would correlate with a central vertigo that occurs while standing, with neck extension... The symptoms look like VBI, and their appears to be symptoms of SIH/CSF leak, as well...
Dr. Middleton, I was diagnosed years ago with fibromyalgia and about 8 months ago with atlas problems like you are talking about, PLEASE HELP ME, AND POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, I LIVE IN NEBRASKA. EVERYDAY IS NOTHING BUT PAIN 😭💔
Fantastic explanation!! Thank you. I just diagnosed myself with a CTA neck. I looked at my own images saw that there was no left jugular. Quick Google search on how to convert to 3D and for free for the exact images you have and it shows Eagles Syndrone. WHY ARE RADIOLOGIST AND DOCS NOT USING 3D???? I downloaded a free program so it’s not cost. My radiology report didn’t even mention my compressed left jugular???? What are we doing????
I saw a NUCCA chiro for years. He told me I was a really bad case and I saw the xrays. I finally quit going because it really didn't seem to help the overall picture. He said I probably have fibro, which I do. I don't even know what to believe anymore
So after finding out that my visual snow could be caused by jugular vein compression since none of the docs seem to recognise this what can i tell them?
I have multiple dehiscences in my skull..im wondering if its causing a myriad of symptoms. I also have jugular vein compression. I was offered no help. Its horrible that no Drs want to assist you. I also have multiple tarlov cysts on my spine. I'm in the process of getting a DNA trst ro check for connective tissue disorder.
I feel like there is an epidemic unfolding with people suffering with the unknown trauma we do to our head and neck throughout our lives. It's not a normal thing to have our styloids calcify to support structural integrity and I believe people suffering with symptoms of all kinds should get scans as early as possible. We have "specialists " for our symptoms, but nothing can replace great scans. God Bless this clinic
You cant just "Get a scan" i have 100s of images but the specialist only wanted to do cervical fusion. Reverse lordosis was in the report along with C7 unconvertable joint hypertrophy. After walk testing for gait he said' You have a nervous system disorder'. I brought up vad and he got upset and said "Why would you say that?
HI, thank you for all this information. Can I ask what type of imaging system do you use? My neck is a terrible mess. Ive been suffering for over 5 years. Im thinking I may have a CSF leak as well. Its really hard to live like this but most Drs dont care.
@@j.w.1419 Yes nasal. If I become more active my vision gets weird, my ears feel full and then if I bend down several times it will start to run out of usually my left nostril. I get base of the scull headaches plus a large variety of other symptoms. I only find relief from symptoms after laying in bed many hours. I have had lots of needles stuck in my back for different reasons over the yrs. I have a double low back fusion thats over 20 yrs old. I know have major problems with my neck and Ehlers Danlos runs in my family plus other connective tissue disorders. I also have an arachnoid cyst in my brain.
@@j.w.1419 I did not see your long comment so maybe it did get deleted. Sorry that that happened. I know how frustrating it is to type a long message and it disappears.
@@jamesgreene1376 The bottom line was Csf is high in ph. I used ph indicator solution (Phenol red) to test the water from my nose. I got mine at the pool supply store. I used a spoon to get the drainage onto a clean paper towel. Tears are yellow. Csf will be dark red purple. I tested spit and tears but only csf will be Red/purple. I also didn't get a blood patch..for a reason. There's things I do to manage this and that's a whole other story. I Learned this from surgeons testing to make sure they have gotten csf during a spinal tap.
You are the first health care provider Ive run across that has listed all my symptoms and can explain a reason for them. I am so messed up. I need help and cant get it. I live too far from Florida to come to an appt there. I also can not afford it. 😢 I have Ins but I doubt that you take it. I practically live in my bed and all activities have become a challenge. My neck is very bad. I have arthritis in several levels with stenosis. I also believe I have a CSF leak. This video describes me along with several other videos of yours. No Dr knows what to do for me. Thank you for this wonderful info, now what do I do with it? Ive been suffering for over 5 yrs.
I am diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis but my spinal fluid was clean at that time. Doctors based on the theory that “this is a different scenario”. I constantly have neck pain and back pain. NSAI’s are the solution for me most of the time. I live in Türkiye. Do you do online sessions in your practice dear doctor?
The iron neck pro is the best way to fix your Atas, it’s the neck muscles that are culprit and neck strength is the cure. The x rays and ct scans don’t show the attachments
I have had Atlas work and he is right on. It is hard to find a Dr. that does that procedure. It is very non-intrusive. no twisting the neck. I lived in Minneapolis area and I had a dr. that specialized in this procedure and it was an eye opener for how I felt and balanced.
At what point do symptoms start to ease? I’ve got heavy compression on both jugular veins and my atlas has now been properly aligned with the atlas orthogonal device. I don’t feel any different, but I see in the video you were referring to 7 or so weeks later when the your patient’s bloodflow had greatly improved. As I understand it, once my atlas is aligned properly my body starts to work out how it should be? I’m constantly in a state of fight or flight, and was hoping this treatment would help me.
Hi Dr. Jeffery! I am getting a CT angiogram of the brain soon and I'd like to send you the images and book a virtual appointment. What should I ask for in the report?
