Nostalghia's music is best described in palate form- a vulnerable outpour of an elemental, emotional landscape married to a cinema of sound, birthing what is now coined by fans as "post-apocalyptic gypsy punk."
The vulnerable-behind-the-veil, intimate and yet expansive sound of Nostalghia draws comparisons to artists ranging from Kate Bush to Nine Inch Nails to Bjork, yet it is unique unto itself. Buzz is building around the performative artistry of this three-piece musical vision.
Dear Nostalghia. I love your basic songs. I miss them. But I'm over my own sorrow and sadness, ok maybe not, but sinking in your own mud of tears you will never move on. You will just kill yourself slowly. That's what you are doing right now. Your songs are suicidal. You clearly want to go down. Your choice. I'm moving one and I refuse to be dragged down by your poor choices. I miss your vital spirit, your will to live...It looks like you give up 😢 Take care.
If I was that band... I'd DUMP this ABSOLUTE JOKE of a Lead Singer and FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY SING BETTER THAN A DRUGGED UP ADOLESCENT ON CRACK as the Band ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING... But this "singer" has NO TALENT OR CLUE WHAT SHE IS DOING - AT ALL!!!
The French lyrics, translated: (A poem: To a Passer-by de Charles Baudelaire) The deafening street around me roared. Tall, slim, in deep mourning, majestic grief, A woman passed, lifting and swinging With a pompous gesture the hem and flounces of her skirt, Swift and noble, with statuesque limb. As for me, I drank, twitching like a crazy man, From her eye, livid sky where the hurricane is born, The softness that fascinates and the pleasure that kills, A lightning flash… then night! O fleeting beauty, By whose glance I was suddenly reborn, Shall I see you again only in eternity? Somewhere else, way too far from here! Too late! Perhaps never! For I do not know where you flee, you don’t know where I go, O you whom I would have loved, O you who knew it!
Stunning vocals music lyrics pretty peoples and the video <3 <3 <3 <3 ... the lyrics cut right to the core of the beautiful and painful engaging and parting from loved ones and similar affairs ... Sending best wishes for good times and more of your magical musicifications!
I love it! Brilliant art from a vibrant heart. Pain, recycled into something beautiful... something I can swallow as I starve for my own confidence in a means of self-expression. Thank you so much for sharing!
Wow! Awestruck again! So charged and delicate and beautiful and just laid bare. Captivating... capturing my soul as if you know where it hurts. You were a girl on a stage in a movie, and I wondered who... so I looked... and now I cannot look away!
RIP John wick sound. Really loved her work for the john wick movies, and the song God Be You. This is like a different artist, everything else just sounds weird.
Dance with this muse tightly. This is one of your best. Lyrics, mood, music exceptional. Something deep is going on here creatively that is so good. Plumb this sea where ever it takes you.
this voice doesn't sound familiar at all, id never of known it was Ciscandra singing? of course it's beautiful. .. I love songs that are more like stories being told and you always come through. .. this is a lot like Led Zepplin in that way. . or Kate Bush who wrote very interesting lyrics that told stories also.
You should listen to Starshine, I am not a rose, Golden horse, He wants to know, and Bipolar nation. Of course it's not the exact same vibe, but Ciscandra's voice is very recognizable.
