My name is Bregje and I am the proud owner of Estona. I am a metalsmith enthousiast and started my business from scratch. I produce my own jewelry in The Netherlands. Because I am so in love with working as a metalsmith and learned a lot from youtube myself, I have decided to post my own tutorials, for the love of the trade.

You can follow the metalsmithing course and all other videos I have created on my Patreon account Patreon.com/estona_tutorials.

I hope I can inspire you to explore becoming a metalsmith or maybe you just like to follow along to see how jewelry is made. Have a great time and please leave a comment if you'ld like. If you don't want to miss out on any of the tutorials, just subscribe to my channel.

So, I paid so expensive for this workbench and I have the same problems, the main about foot rest.. and I came from Brasil, so, no so tall. Other problems about this loved workbench is the bench pin ... I just wanna to use the soldering station and the bench pin in the same table, but this is impossible , right? How to solved this matter? I just wondering why durston still have this ergonomics problems since is a really old brand.. I just don't expect that..thank you for shared your experience..

There are still a lot of metalsmiths on this platform who offer their videos for free. I don't know of any whose entire channel is only pay for view. I think it's a mistake to expect that you can support yourself and your family via RU-vid. I pay approximately $16 a month for an ad-free experience and do not want to be charged again by content creators who promised to post only free tutorials, with the option of becoming a patreon for more in-depth instruction. I, too, have to buy groceries for myself and my family. Personally, I had (mostly) stopped watching your channel because your content had begun to consist primarily of product reviews for jewelry tools that most metalsmiths cannot afford. Good luck. I hope this works out for you.

Hi Estona! I have tried to order a bench from Durston after watching your video, but the code does not work. Is it not valid anymore?

You mentioned a jewelry supply place to buy tools and supplies from and it started with “G”. Could you tell me the name of the place.

Did you solder the pin in as well or just rivet and polish?

I am so disappointed that you have felt you had to move your videos to another media place. You are my absolute favorite jeweler in here and I am very sad to see you go. Unfortunately I'm not in a place where I can subscribe to your channel and do not have an apple phone to download Patreon. I had this video saved because you inspired me to make something close to it but I had to buy some equipment first which takes time as you know because it's not cheap. This was going to be my first thing to try to make. I might still by memory. Good luck to you and God Bless you and your growth elsewhere.

Great job but the gold foil is to thin it should be at least 13microns that is the thickness of traditional keum boo

Hi Emma, I believe this was a half rounded ring. A round ring would do nicely as well. The thickness is about 2 mm's. I do have the full video up on Patreon in case you are interested: www.patreon.com/posts/granule-ring-106441432?Link&
