Kung ang whole number na 1 ay minuend at mag subtract ng fraction, yong 1 gagawin mong fraction equal to 1 na ang denominator ay kapareho ng denominator ng subtrahend. Halimbawa: 1 - 3/4 = Yong 1 ay magiging 4/4 kaya 4/4 - 3/4 = 1/4

Nakita ko po ang topic mo na reducing fractions to lowest term... Fractions in lowest term if there is no common factor between the numerator and denominator regardless if it is proper or improper fractions... examples, 2/3, 4/7,7/3, 9/5... Changing improper fractions to mixed numbers is not the same as reducing fractions to the lowest term .. ang mga improper fractions na walang gcf sa numerator at denominator are considered in lowest terms and improper fractions in lowest terms no need to change in mixed numbers...as I have said changing improper fractions to mixed numbers is a different topic...
Ganun pa rin ang gawin u kunin ang LCD at ichange sa similar fractions. Pagkatapos iapply u dito yong rules sa pag subtract ng integers dahil may negative sign ang subtrahend. Yong rules papalitan ng opposite sign ang subtrahend kaya yong negative magiging positive na. At yong operation ay papalitan ng addition at susundin din yong rules sa pag add ng integers. Kaya magiging ganito: 10/13 - (-1 7/10) = 100/130 + 1 91/130 =1 191/130 = 2 61/130
