I am a professional film maker, mostly working in promotional videos and documentaries. This channel represents my personal work or not for profit activities. They are just fun things I enjoy. They are not loaded with lots of special effects. My specialty is to tell a story, and to do that through editing: Film editing and editing to music. I love films that do this well like Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity. And I have fads, I want to be Quentin Tarantino's film editor although I'd settle for the Coen Brothers if they asked! Sit back and enjoy. Typical topics here are, Adventurers, Hot Air Ballooning, Live Events, Music Events, Regattas, Auction, Outdoors, Wilderness, Kites, Gas Ballooning, Circus, Dance, Sport and 'whatever comes our way' (thanks Steppenwolf).
Thanks for uploading She is a beautiful bird, in my home town, I was there also that day, and also when she flew over the city centre. I now own one in my AM4 game, she;s unfortunately not profitable, but I am passionate about keeping her right at the top of my fleet. What an amazing, totally awesome day ! And even bigger technological achievement.
Seeing this now and whilst not British made makes me feel so sad that none of the BA 747's are getting this same treatment due to covid. :( I guess all good things must come to an end eventually. great video btw thank you
Necesitaria que alguien publicase el manual de taller del TE20 para compartirlo con todos y poder llevar a cabo restauraciones de calidad Gracias de antemano y sigan haciendo estos buenos trabajos Un saludo

There were a lot of people in tears on the day! Including myself. I tried to make a fitting tribute to the engineering and pioneering spirit that was embodied within Concorde
@@MrsLucyLocket I think you captured it beautifully, and made this magical masterpiece proud, never liked planes but this beautiful swan caught my eye when I was younger.I too choked up when they shut down those wonderful engine's.thank you for sharing your passion for CONCORDE, she belongs in the sky again to bring people smiles specially in these dark days.cheers 😉♌
It’s very emotional watching the end of something so technologically and aesthetically brilliant. Ok the economics were wrong but how did anyone stop this thing flying.....Just the sight of watching it fly is worth every penny in kindling national pride and making you feel good.
Yes, so much pride, I was proud and sad to be there all at the same time. So much expertise lost. It was relatively 'young', since it only took a few hours to cross the Atlantic, the skin heated up at speed and drove the moisture away. Speedbird, we loved it!
When my wife was dying from cancer it wasn't possible for her to fly abroad for a holiday so she asked if she could dolphins before she died, I heard that there were wild dolphins in the Moray Firth and booked a boat trip, the captain said that they hadn't seen any for a day or so, and I could see how disappointed she was, we took the trip any way, it was cold, wet and uninviting, suddenly from out of the water several feet from Tina a beautiful huge dolphin lept into the air followed by its family including a couple of babies, they played around the boat for about 25 minutes and gave Tina an amazing show, I am so glad that we saw these wonderful creatures and that Tina had her wish granted. x
Fab video... would love to fly across Bristol. Did a balloon flight with Bristol Balloons but took off from Bath due to wind direction... Am sure we'll do it again some time and hopefully fly over our house in Southville. Bristol's an amazing city to see from the air.
@BristolBallooning Ah, I did not know that, thank you for letting me know. That's very interesting. I'll definitely be at the fiesta, it's the place to be!
@saulkj98 Hello there, I can't remember for sure, but if it was a slightly windy day, then sometimes the 'fancy' shapes have great difficulty with control in flight. So I guess that may have been partly the reason or perhaps it was to be tethered for show purposes. I've done a bit of ballooning in my time and have been told that tethering the balloon shortens the life of the balloon as it gets blown around quite a bit with lots of stresses and strains. So they do this rarely.
@mrmyrtos Hello, I am very glad that you enjoyed it. 2009 was a very good year for the Bristol Balloon Fiesta. Maybe you got a glimpse of yourselves in the video.........
