The Gay Arthropod sounds like an avante garde superhero's name. Perhaps a particularly fey alternate version of Peter Parker (which, upon reflection, sounds like it could be both a euphemism and a name).
And that is why, most female comedians are not funny. If god was a man, sperm would taste of chocolate so men wouldn't have to beg, they would have to fight women's lips and mouths off their cocks and it would be calorie free so they don't balloon up to 500 lbs or more. SCRATCH THAT !!!!!! Sperm would keep women young as long as they kept swallowing it and be calorie free and taste of chocolate. A man's penis would be the fountain of youth ! Just so happens this fountain, tastes of chocolate. Eternal youth and buty only works if she takes it straight from the tap, no penis pumps to fill jars in the fridge
"The Sisteen Chapel would have been painted white if Michaelangelo was straight" - bullshit - is every artist gay? - I think not. If every artist was gay it would all be pink - take your lies and F**k off
Has Alan remained hetro throughout all this time? What with the ongoing permanent attendance of a selection of homosexual team members and presenters, in Qi it may have contributed to his outlook and network of friends.
@@thisravenhasflown010 I am an English Christian, who is aware as to how one’s attitude can be affected by the long term company one keeps. Week after week in similar company for many years could generally be seen to change one’s mind, especially as Steven Fry is such an opinionated character, who seems to have strong set opinions in so many things. It has become very apparent as to the high quantity of homosexual guests invited week after week, which has become rather tiresome over the years, as so many ‘comedians’ of that ilk seem to think it funny to just turn up, say they’re homo sexual and the audience is expected to fall about laughing.
@@expressoevangelism80 oh lmao I could say that about heterosexual guests. Grow up, it isn't a disease you can catch. But boy, the church is a cult all right🤣
@@expressoevangelism80 actually he's father to a nice family... but fortunately he doesn't believe in religion. Because he has brains🤣👍but real fans would know that. People trolling to cause trouble... not so much😉🤣
Isn’t it more fennel seeds than the vegetable? As I have been led to understand fennel seeds were added to salami given to people tasting wine in the Chianti region. The fennel is reputed to make wine taste better than it really is and thus improve its sales potential. The Italian verb to hoodwink or con someone is ‘infinocchiare’ or ‘to enfennel’ them. Dario Ceccini, master butcher and restauranteur in Panzano in Chianti recounted this tale to us when we were eating fennel salami and tasting wine in his butcher’s shop. This is doubtless linked to the idea of homosexuals ‘not being straight’, which is why ‘fennel’ is a derogatory term for them.
Exactly. Non malicious word play and smart responses. All in the context of finding some comedic leverage knowing that you could say most things without hurting anyone's feelings. Wait a second, I'm too gay to accept you say this was when it was good. Good for gays? Good for Straights? Delete the video and be done with it!
American here... what style English cupcake? What you are able to graduate high school believing (getting away with speaking) is English? Or true English?😮😊😂
This is why British TV shows sell so well across the world. Despite our failings, our country respects the right of free speech and art. Our comedy is without doubt the smartest and sharpest out there. We take the piss out of ourselves. Our TV personalities are just an extension of our national psyche. Live and let live. If you don't hurt anyone then get on with it. But we don't like people that want to cause a fuss.
That's all fine, but there are two sides to that. When 'not causing a fuss' becomes a social taboo, you end up with a society that becomes highly vulnerable to inequality, prejudice and outright erasure of minorities, because people who speak out against such things are ignored and deemed to be 'just causing a fuss'.
@@DodderingOldMan Agreed. Was just making the point that we Brits tend to let people get on with things, and are generally tolerant. The right to free speech and expression indeed applies to all sides of every argument and perspective.
@@UndergroundHouseAndTechno It does, yeah. But the obvious addendum there is that not all sides of every argument or perspectives are equally valid. I'm not saying you were suggesting otherwise, but I do think it's an important point that's lost on some people.
@@UndergroundHouseAndTechno Ha! Well, thank you, I'm actually Australian, but I take that as a compliment. I'm proud of my British heritage. Plus I was basically raised on British sitcoms :P
Jeezuz Christ. How can anyone stand to watch 13 minutes of such infantile "botty humour". It's like watching a stand-up session of Tom Allen + Alan Car + Julian Clary, but at least their humour is well scripted and delivered. Also, what kind of Obsessive Compulsive trawls through all the QI programs, saves to drive and edits all the poofy bits together? Maybe some OC traincspotter is presently compiling a video of QI train jokes. (I doubt it). No agenda to be advanced like gay acceptability. Jeezuz, Alan Davies is such childish twat. Fry isn't much better, but dressed up as a polymath intellectual. Both of them would have been the Giggling Gerties at the back of the class disrupting lessons at every potential double-entendre. Alan still is. It's clearly a neurosis he hasn't grown out of. WHY are all these people so obsessed with sexuality ... of either kind/any kind. I suppose in a few years there will be a trans QI host and a compilation of trans jokes. 🙄
@@zapkvr I didn't insinuate it was "true" -- but rather my impression/opinion/preference. And to those who disagree, you must be of the similar ilk to find such stuff amusing. It's just childish, "naughty" talk, either for "riské" titillation or to advance the cause of normalising sodomy.
You might be too late, I just noticed that the pilot and all episodes from Series A have vanished from my Playlist. Seems they're expanding the copyright censorship more and more.
