@@karthi465 see all the videos i explained this method read the comments you will find the answer for your questions. this kind of gears has no calculations to make on universal milling machine it needs experience and you can collect all the tips quickly by just focus and be patient
@@karthi465 Hello friend the degree depends on the tooth shape explained it in many vedios but l will explain it agine to you if the start of the tooth is wide you have to reduce the degree untill it is normal as the sample and if the start of the tooth is very narrow you have to increase the degree of the table (x axis) till it be like the sample Also do that for the end of the tooth and be careful look to the shape of sample tooth

Комментарии есть возможность переводчиком перевести, а вот живую речь только догадываюсь по видео😊 Про поворот стола на угол понял, центрирование заготовки тоже понял, деление по числам зубьев тоже понимаю, а вот как увязать продольное движение фрезерного стола с поворотом нарезаемой шестерни посредством гитары шестерен - не понимаю, ищу формулы в интернете и не могу найти этот метод зубонарезания. Продолжайте снимать! Очень и очень интересно и познавательно 👍👍👍
@@ahmeddrdeer1399Кажется я понял как расчитать. Через тангенс угла зуба нужно найти шаг спирали и согласовать с шагом винта стола. И для разных шестерен это передаточное число будет разным, не смотря на один и тот же угол зуба, из-за разных диаметров. Все ли правильно я понял?

Question, Ahmed: how do you match the lead of the pinion to the lead of the mating crown gear? Do you mark the pinion from the crown, then match the lead by trial and error? Thanks for this very detailed video!
Hello Thomas you pointed to the most important tip Wich l decided to make a video about .but I will tell you this is one of the deepest secrets that l learned 35 years ago . first as you said marking one from other but you have to mark the crown from the pinion so you make the pinion first so it will be easy to hold it and mark the crown in case the crown was huge also the crown has multi number of teeth and that Will be useful in the checkout for the lead and (some chalk and ink would be good) then you repeat at border then hold on crown with the chuck and get the lead here the secret comes. make sure you have a middle teeth gear on the quadrant arm no matter if it's leader gear or follower one ..for example 33 teeth gear so it's in between (28_44) that's to control the lead well .start to cut the crown don't get all depth but halfway and cut about 5 or 6 teeth .stop the machine and engage the pinion with crown and see there are several ways to recognize that pinion is pointing to center . if it's not so you have to move the pinion with your hand and look carefully to know whether the lead need to be little bit faster or little bit slower and I think that you have the experience to make the good gear change (I mean 2 or 3 teeth more or less with the middle gear which is 33 teeth) then you cut another 5 teeth and repeat till you have the aim and that was pleasure to talk with you about that subject

Hey man ... what are angles for cutter to machine this gear with spiral teeth...???? I understand standard module gear cutters from 8 pcs but your method i do not understand. Sharpening or grinding is made with a calculated grinding wheel diameter?
Hello friend this kind of gears has a circled cutter to make Did you see the gleason spiral gear making machine? So here i use a regular cutter but it will give a wider female tooth so l grinded old cutter to make it thinner and l choosed a grind wheel the same curve of the cutter tooth

@@dgengineers Thanks DG This was one of several old way methods to cut spiral bevel gear on universal milling You see here the lead is a curve because of the cone (bevel) so the diametral pitch is an Aria not a circle like the helical gear and that's why make it complex my friend Also that's why they invented a special machine and a special tool cutter only for this kind of gears(Gleason's) any way thanks for your interest

@@juliusmiculob decreasing table angel about(1 or 2 or 3 degrees)will make the wide in the tooth end and the narrow in the tooth start And vice versa my advice to you is To get it one degree by one degree to give your eye a chance to see the defrance every time until you decide that is good also don't get the hall depth until you be sure that is the good shape of the tooth
Lathe is very easy for one tooth and yes you have to sharp the cutter well and lathe had a limited leads in the schedule But on milling machine is more controlling so you can make several starts and un limited leads

Hello jack this method is an old one it depend's on experience to find the gears wich will make the pitch.so you couldn't develop it to a high level also it is clear and effective without calculations l could invent a formula for it but that will be in how to determine the gear ratio to find the defrntial gears only .l am so sorry for speaking too much but here we go together . If you want a full formula and a high qualification gear manufacturing go and get your self an extensive gear making machine if you want to make a simple spiral bevel gear on a regulare milling machine let's talke simpler

Правильно ли я понял, что формулы настройки не существует? Настройка производится опытным путем исходя из образца конической шестерни? Возможно ли нарезать таким способом коническую шестерню с малым числом зубьев, у которой форма приближается к цилиндру (большая коническая шестерня более плоская, чем маленькая)?

Hello thomass really l know that bevel gear tooth start depth is smaller than tooth end depth and also tooth end is wider than tooth start and the face of the tooth is near to parallel maybe the start is narrow a little bit But the spur & helical gear is parallel depth , parallel wide, parallel tooth face surely
@@ahmeddrdeer1399 sorry, I know you understand all that. I have made bevel gears that are constant depth, which is not too hard for me. Yours appear more like a proper bevel gear with variable depth and pitch…I would like to learn your method, if there is a book or video you can point out to me, I would be grateful!
