Muñoz never mentioned that the USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her its colony. Therefore, the Puerto Ricans nationalists have the right to use any means necessary to decolonize our homeland. For all those ignorants who think that LMM sold the island to the USA, nobody can sell anything to the owner. Spain granted the island along with other countries that they had invaded to the USA in 1898 to end the Spanish American War, not to the government of those countries. The moment the citizens of the island decided to be part of the USA instead of being independent (thanks God) the island had to start paying taxes to the USA, as part of the nation. What LMM did was to persuade the federal government to reimburse part of the taxes they had collected, for benefits to the island, to improve the social life of the citizens. So, did LMM sell the island to the USA or Spain granted it to them and the citizens decided to stay as part of the nation? Those who are from the island, and the envious freeloader aliens, corroding of envy, nobody gives anything for free to the island. The island pays for the benefits and shares them with whoever gets there in need.
