Wondering whether or not after using this you would still need to top the oil. I’ve had a leak that I discovered only yesterday so not sure that it’s enough to require a refill

Make sure your front wheel is off the ground to help reduce the pressure.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR SKIN WITH THIS, THE ONLY THING IT CAN CONSISTENTLY DO IS SLICE YOUR FINGERS. FORK SEALS ARE MESSY, NOT DIFFICULT

At 1:42, he is inserting the Seal Mate at a 45 degree angle then rotating it parallel to the fork tube. Not perpendicular as stated several times.

Fixed my heavily leaked FZR seal. Took maybe 30min. The amount of dirt under dustseal was aweful. So clean it well. Be cearful not to bend Seal Mate tool, first rotate is not easy. Thanks Seal Mate greets from 🇪🇪

This " tool" is a worthless fraud. Do not waste your money or time. Mine folded up like a cheap matchbook and failed to enter the fork seals of my V-Strom. Fake.

I was skeptical at first but I decided it's such a cheap method I would try it first before getting the seals redone on my 2013 ktm 690 duke. It worked exactly like in the video......thank you!

Great idea, right price. My only issue is they always crack and fall apart by the time I go to use them. Maybe sell it with a little case to protect it, and a material that's a little less brittle.

My bike is a 35 year old Honda 650 Nighthawk. I REALLY didn't think it would work on (maybe) 35 year old fork seals. But I thought, it's so expensive to replace the seals, what's another $6 if it might work? Well--by golly, it seems to have done the job! A test ride will tell. Took the tool around twice on the fork seals, and maybe 6-8 times around on the dust seals. They were horrible. A little tip: A knife blade is a much better tool for prying up dust seals than a screwdriver. The screwdriver is really good for getting into the area above the fork seal. Cover the tip with a couple thicknesses of clean rag and have at it. I used spray WD-40 to really flush out the dirt, then cleanup with the cloth covered screwdriver. Once it's really clean (take your time and do it right), then use the tool.

i used an old gas credit card i flattened out on the edge and cut a hook shape just like your tool, but mine wasnt as wide. pulled the dust cap down carefully with a tiny screwdriver. used my rigged up tool and it really worked!!. i followed the procedure he recommended and compressed and cleaned forks 3 times or until no fork oil ring. cleaned the dust cap and fork again, reinserted dust cap. i never thought to do this in ALLLL the years of riding street bikes!! whenever i started seeing a small fork oil rings, i figured oil seals were about to blow soon... wow great video and tool, i will buy your tool, I just needed to fix little leak asap for track day! lol

Inventors make Bad instructors/advertisers. First, 90% of buyers own street bikes, not dirt bikes. 2nd the lighting for the video/audio is amatuerish. I could go on... In my 30 yrs of Corp. Advertising when the Pres. insists on doing the ad to save $$ it is a disaster.

Bought the Seal Mate near the end of the 2018 riding season when the 1200S developed a left fork oil leak.... sure, could have made a cheaper similar tool, but hey, for a few bucks I have the real McCoy. Why not give a few bucks to the Genius behind the tool. I followed the directions from this video and after compressing the forks a few times... fork oil was still seeping out. Wiped the stanchion down and went for a ride... got back to the homestead and the stanchion was wet again... a tad disappointing. As it was time to put her away for the winter, I wiped the stanchion down once more and put her to bed... Spring 2019... brought the 1200s out of storage. She fired right up as usual. Went for a ride... gave the forks a good work out and to my delight, the left stanchion was bone dry. Seal Mate did the trick... Thanks Jeff... 🙂👍

The thing actually works ! :) Tried it with a GSX-R 1000. Seals were changed 10 months ago, and it started leaving the typical oil waves last month. I was skeptical, but thought "meh, nothing to loose". Thing actually works :)

I used the Seal Mate about 2+ weeks ago on my 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. My bike has Top Dampening Shocks instead of the typical Bottom Dampening ones. I have put about 1000 Miles on my bike since using the Seal Mate Tool and I have NOT seen any signs of seal leakage or oil smears!!! I am ecstatic and Extremely impressed how well this worked and How EASY the tool is to use. Seal Mate saved me at least $250 parts & labor at my local shop!!! Thank you Seal Mate Team for engineering an AWESOME Product!!!! Regards, Dwight (Ike Spike) Welsh Life Long Biker!!!
