This house is beautiful but having stayed recently, it needs some repairs. There is mold in the air vents and the air conditioning is not working properly. When we arrived they picked up a portable unit and told my sister in law they had repaired the ac but if there was a problem to let them know. It took them 2 days to bring the unit back which only solved the problem in 1 bedroom. We were unable to enjoy the main living area and kitchen or the theater room. The back door by the pool table doesn't lock. So the whole trip we were worried about intruders and roasting in the bed and at dinner. Ya'll need to do better. This isn't to mention the full trash bins on arrival and the grill that was too filthy to use.
Please know everyone here sympathizes with the disruption a malfunctioning HVAC system can cause. We are always eager to remedy any concern as soon as it is brought to our attention. Our partner service providers in HVAC maintenance and repair are generally prompt and efficient, however, the very remote nature of Hatteras Island influences the limited capacity of these providers from time to time. Please also know that discoloration on metal vent covers is most often the result of dust collecting on condensation when humid outside air meets interacts with metal parts cooled by the HVAC. Humid outside air enters the homes more often in vacation homes as guests enter and leave the home more frequently throughout the day. The dates of trash collection are determined by the county and are beyond our control. Cleaning oversights, like the grill you've described, are generally very rare for our housekeeping teams. We are always eager to return to remedy any concern.
I really would love to see a video of Paradise Cove #747! I have searched everywhere for more info on that house! Mostly I’d like to know about the bathrooms. We have already booked it :)
I'd stay again we stayed in moonshine 684 best stay ever I loved the walkway to the ocean and the pool and the theater with actual theater reclining chairs it was so nice would defiantly go again
