That was the first truck that was a cabover and it didn't have but a 4 inch doghouse in it plenty of room to get dressed in the mornin lol my mom made curtains for me that slid from the center of the windshield to around the back of the seats ,had a heater in it out of a Dat sun b 210 it fit right in the cubby hole under the center of the dash ,first truck with a bunk heater ,I built it myself ,,,I drove that truck with just my socks on it was so toasty in the cab and it would b 20 degrees out that 238 I put a turbo on it man that was BIG POWER back in the day lol
That's the exact truck I drove back and forth to California, Florida, all from Rhode island no air nopowerstearing pulling reffer and flat over width overweight lol one of the first trucks I learned to drive 13 YRS old lol
It's easy to make an end dump trailer look good at its job on nice level ground like you have here (if you ignore the cycle time of this behemoth)... but I've gone into sites where I felt down right scared to put a normal 40 foot body up in the air. Not to mention... the frame on this thing looks like they stole it from under a railroad trestle... what's this monster's tare weight? Seems to me you could build an ejector of some kind at a much lower tare weight, getting much more in payload, and remaining safer from the possibility of rollover during discharge.
Not really the most practical to use. Or maneuverable. Or safe. Or fast. The only good side was having the ability to raise the pointless axles when empty. That piece of crap must be a real bitch to maneuver loaded with the front most axles on the ground which dont seem to be steerable.
