Maybe I missed it, but why do the male plugs burn like that. This just happened to my Toro (maybe 2 years old) and my Black & Decker edger too. Am I using the wrong cord? It's an extra-long orange cord from Home Depot. Also, the white plug you used, did you buy that separately as a Toro part or did you just use an old extension cord and cut it short?
I don’t have access to the tree itself but I do have access to its roots. Can I drill into its root system & pour in the product? Will it kill it that way?
Just wondering: if the unit is off and maybe even unplugged, then why shouldn’t you stick hand in? I put my hand in mine to retrieve items all the time
I have a tiny straw brush (tiny version of bottle brush) stuck in mine. But the motor isn’t stuck it’s running. Would I use the same process to get it unstuck?
I need to replace the wiring harness on my 04 Toyota sequoia. Any idea how I can find the right part without going to Toyota ? For the running board lights
My EPS light is on when turning on the car all the way (EPS also not working) but when I try to get a code there is no light turning on at all. Any idea?
I don't know from experience but yes, this same method should work on Boston ivy: www.bhg.com/gardening/plant-dictionary/vine/boston-ivy/#:~:text=Remove%20the%20leaves%20from%20the,(not%20full%20sun)%20light.
25 years ago, we bought a log home with a surround, 12 foot wide deck. Previous owners neglected the deck to the point I had to demolish it and rebuild. I used Redwood. We’re at 5,500 Wyoming feet and the climate is brutal. I re-stain the deck annually, using hIgh VOC Olympic Elite Woodland Oil transparent… even that doesn’t provide complete protection. I don’t know what this has to do with deck cleaning.
My fan was making a horrible sqeaking noise; following this video and cleaning + ;lubricating it fixed it. Thanks for saving me $50 from needing to buy a new one!
3:33 Using propane torch for 4 min wasn't enough first time. I think it was because I didn't heat that nut enough specifically as first time I went over the whole area. So second time I heated the nut another 4-5 min until it started to glow red and then put my wrench on and it worked. My RAV4 is 2010 so that oxygen sensor has been stuck there for probably 13yrs! Also like to say this video was superior to all the others I seen for this viewing the O2 sensor removal. Toyotas has made the RAV4 & Camry a pain to service. From the special tool for oil change, to the difficulty in changing the serpentine belt, to now this oxygen sensor. Regardless I still like the RAV4.
After working 20 minutes trying to get this spring I realized I was going no where. Came in and checked you tube and yours was the first video I came across. Didn't have to go to another one. Great job and it was truly appreciated.
What type of noise were you experiencing? I had this issue before when only turning. This time when moving slowly, but it sounds metal on metal squeaking, very very loud.
@tongo117 i have this type of noise when moving forward. Doesn't seem to get worse when going faster, just consistent... happened 15 minutes after driving on a bumpy dirt road for 2 miles. Car is dirty, wonder if a rock got caught somewhere, i did reverse at one point for 200 ft on gravel and dirt. Gonna look under car tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing the tips. Are you up for a collaboration to share more knowledge of small engine repair by the way? Yes, it does/did get on the windows.. I just wiped it off with a clean rag no window cleaner just the rag.. Part of an old cotton t-shirt if I remember correctly..
Great video. I finally found a problem: a slice in the power cord. I did remove the motor and after putting the vac together, I have no suction. The motor runs strong but I'm stumped. Are my wires wrong? I have air blowing out of the top vents if that means anything. Unfortunately, I did not make alignment marks on the motor and housing when taking the motor out. I thought I would remember how it went in or would only go in one way. Also, I'm wondering about the wiring to make sure everything is right.
Wish I found this yesterday. Took me ages to work out how to do it but done it in the end. Had to put a screw in to catch the middle part of the spring though. Will do till I get a new part or I’m hoping a universal one will fit. Great helpful video though👌👍
Just tried it on a gasket I forgot to remove before cleaning my suppressor baffles with brake-clean (silicone I suppose, I am an idiot); boiled for 10 mins then baked at 350º for 10 mins and let it sit in freezer overnight. We all owe you a case of beer!
❤ man you just saved me from buying a new car or a engine.... 2011 4cyc w/192k... love the thing and has more room then the 2024... will be dumping money into it vs a car payment
You are great at giving the steps to take this fan apart! Usually, this kind of video can overwhelm me and send me searching for a better one. This one is very easy to watch and learn from. Thanks for sharing!
For the valve cover gasket, only use a HONDA oem gasket. They make the job so much easier. These gaskets have little divets in them which hold the gasket into the valve cover grooves so it won't fall out when you flip the cover rightside up. And the Honda valve cover gasket is cheap, like $11 when ordered online. Plus, it fits like a glove. Use ONLY the Honda gasket.
If you find you can’t remove the key from the ignition after this repair you will need to take the black plastic piece out and widen the bottom and top holes where the metal shaft slides under to make sure that the shaft has enough clearance to release the key. I removed the shaft and used a small drill bit to widen the plastic and then tapped it on and left it there for about 20 minutes. I removed the shaft and reassembled everything and was able to remove the key after shifting into park. You can use the old plastic cylinder to see how much wider you need to make the holes so that the shaft seats closer to the top of that black plastic piece.
Buenas tardes a todos una pregunta no se el ingles espero que alguien lo entienda este comentario, como se llama esos cables que usa para verificar si esta bien o ya no, gracias
