I wish I could find the scene when Rudy brings the key back to Fortune. Rudy does all the talking and I wasn't sure if Fortune was listening until he tells Rudy as he's walking away, "If you dress for a game, i'll be there." Very underrated scene in the movie.
I still live in Indiana. Grew up loving Indiana Basketball and Norte Dame Football. Still a fan of both no matter how good or bad. Much thx to my grandparents and father for loving such wonderful institutions
This is the only movie that makes me tear up. Especially this scene and in the end when he takes the field and makes that sack for the first time. I wish I could live in a society of people with that kind of character.
All about the ND bands, hundreds of people in the band. It reminds of the North End feasts in Boston. They went into Regina Pizza one year and the band was very loud. But during August there’s bands all over the North End. This year they got cancelled though.
just a question.. did you make it to notre dame ? did you get to play atleast one play in a college football game ? well the real rudy did. the rest is Hollywood and makes for a good story.
