I did this before for people that don't know the reason why you need BLACK paper is because black absorbs heat so it can cook your smore. You need tin foil because it is going to reflect the light and you need wrapping so the heat can stay in the oven Hope this helped!
Just started reading Nancy Drew and love them as a kid ,and its fun re reading them as an adult ,brings back memories and still love them ,thanks for sharing ,
My wife, who is Hungarian, said that this guy forgot to pierce the roll with a fork prior to going into the oven. This is done so that the roll does not expand and split.

I think you gave some really good advice about dealing with anxiety ..I feel most people had a fair amount of anxiety during the covid lockdown and fear also for our loved ones...I feel that as person who also has spiritual gifts and as an empath that the anxiety went to a whole new level during that time...can't wait to read the book...
I am Romanian / Hungarian and make Nut Rolls as gifts every year. When I saw this was from Toledo I knew it would be good. My family always went to Toledo for visiting other Romanian and Hungarian friends . Although just a few of your ingredients are a little different than my mom's, your method is spot on with hers . Thanks for the refresh Mike, and Happy Holidays.
My Anyuca used a butterknife to cut the dough into the boiling water to make the nookedli (dumplings). Whatever instrument you use, if you dip the utensil briefly into the water with each 'cut', it will make the job easier. Jol nappot kivanum.
Been making paprikas since I little..learned from nagymama's Yanco and Kekes..Julia Toth was my mentor many many years ago..thankyou for these video's!!
So sorry for your loss...that had to be very hard to go thru..sending love and light...I lost several family members during covid and I truly believe that our crossed over loved ones are a peace and know that we love them...and I'm a true believer that they can hear us when we speak to them...we can still tell them what we would want them to know.
